This is a moment where we should not criticize Blue Dogs but tell them we got their backs
I am absolutely serious.
We need to tell them they will have our dull throated support on re-election if they vote for HCR.
Any on wo thingks party purioty is more important the Health Car reform is just nuts.
The perky primitive got a little bit mangled up, in that last sentence.

Providing it is done convincingly, and the knife held well-concealed in readiness for employment in primary season....

3. Until the next critical vote...
I'm sorry, but the "Charlie Brown" strategy vis-a-vis Lucy and the football, has gotten rather old...
This dog can learn a new trick or two (or at least not continue to commit the same mistakes).
If these Blue Dogs have any functioning synapses left, they already KNOW their only chance is to come around on this vote. Let them show THEIR loyalty for once and then maybe the voters will reassess.

5. Nope.
We've already tried that and it bites us in the ass everytime. They need to have OUR backs...period.

8. So one vote buys 5 years?
After a year of conspiring with the GOP to block real health care reform, we're suppose to promise them re-election if they'll vote on one watered down bill, 6 months late? All that will do is get us more Joe Lieberman's. Rahm send ya this strategy?

18. No, that's what we should have told them LAST year at this time.
Vote for a REAL health care reform bill, and you will be re-elected in a landslide.
Vote against it, or neuter it into a piece of corporate bailout shit, and your DINO ass goes down in the primary.
If that had been the message, do you think we would be looking at such a pathetic bill today?
I dunno about any "re-elected in a landslide" bit.

This is the answer all of them would give if they believed it would work. Actively planning to lie is OK and the ends justify the means; the sign of all true totalitarians. It's all Dear Leader has done since he got into office.

Proofreading is your friend.
Nobody's seen this bill that they're talking about. Are they sure they really want it? Mandates are still there, after all.

Liberals have to lie! It's the only way they ever make it into office! Frikkin' crooks!

Ain't seeing no Blue Dog love there, and if the Blue Dogs were smart enough to get elected in the first place, it's difficult to see them being dumb enough to fall for this crap.
