SURPRISE! Fox News online lying about "rare" reconciliation possibility.

They couldn't get through a dozen words without lying...

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/02/28/republicans-... /

The Senate appears to be gearing up to use a rare budgetary maneuver to push through a Democratic-supported health care overhaul, but even the Senate Democrat's top budgeter says it can't be used for wholesale reforms.

Sen. Kent Conrad, D-N.D., the chairman of the Senate Budget Committee, said the rules around "reconciliation" only allow for items that can be budgeted to be approved through the process that allows for a simple majority of 51 Senate votes.

"The major package of health care reform cannot move through the reconciliation process. It will not work," Conrad said on CBS' "Face the Nation."

"This whole bill cannot be passed on reconciliation. It would be the budget elements of the bill, with a simple majority vote," Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., agreed on "Fox News Sunday."

3. Forget FoxNews ....

Concentrate on Democrats. They have the power, They have the tools to pass REAL
HCR that the majority of the American People want.

Stop playing the Republican Card, It's a useless ploy for the slack jawed partisans
who don't know, Don't care and are quietly sleeping right now as one of the biggest
hoaxes in modern political history is attempting to be pulled off by DEMOCRATS.

Want TRUE HRC ?

It's called, The Public Option WITH Single Payer

Everything else is Corporate Bullshit, No more, No less.

4. The big point on reconcillation keeps being missed

The Senate already passed the bill by 60 votes. The house passed the bill. There are differences and those are hammered out in conference committee. Then the committee report gets voted on by both houses. That's where it has been suggested to use reconciliation: voting on the changes to the bill the Senate already passed.

The Democrats should be literally screaming this: the Senate already passed the bill by 60 votes. Maybe even show the School House Rock on how a bill becomes a law. Instead they are letting the Republicans frame the issue again.

I don't think the primitives have the slightest idea what they're talking about.

Which shows the complete ignorance the DUmmies have regarding the issue.
Those are two different things but proves my point on another thread that somehow they think the public option amounts to free health care.

They do seem to think the end game is "free" anything. Somehow.

Plus with the mindset that they "deserve" it to be that way.

After a while, though, the stoopid increases to the point where narcotics can't hope to block it out.
