A Web site provided the introduction, and Perkins skillfully used the women's profiles to flatter them. But if Perkins ever revealed anything about himself, he always left out one important detail: He has AIDS.
Perkins pleaded guilty Wednesday in Johnson Superior Court to two felony counts of failing to warn a sexual partner that he had HIV or AIDS. Sentencing is set for April 21. He was arrested Friday after a former girlfriend reported him.

The case likely is the first conviction in Indiana under a 1993 law requiring people with HIV, AIDS and hepatitis B to inform their partners, said Steve Johnson, executive director of the Indiana Prosecuting Attorneys Council.
"It serves a valid purpose," Johnson said of the law. "It lets people know that you are facing prison time if you know you have HIV and you have consensual sex with someone and don't warn them."

This is almost identical to an episode of Law & Order SVU.  I guess this guy won't have to worry about being raped in prison.

I'm sure there's at least one prison queen that will be glad to make his acquaintance.  Do they keep infected prisoners separate from the rest?
