"The Obama health care proposal issued this morning would take away from America’s senior citizens their current right to add their own money on top of the government Medicare contribution to get health insurance less likely to deny treatment through tightly controlled managed care," Balch said.
"It would do so even as it cuts the government contribution to Medicare by hundreds of billions of dollars," he adds.
Under “Title III . . . Guaranteeing Benefits for Seniors by Ending Overpayments to Insurance Companies,†Balch notes that the Obama proposal talks about Medicare Advantage plans -- the alternative that now allows older Americans, if they wish, to pay more to get insurance less likely to ration treatment.
The Obama plan says Medicare Advantage plans will “be prohibited from charging seniors more than they would pay for services delivered under the traditional Medicare program.â€
Balch responds: "Thus, older Americans would be prohibited by law from making up the Medicare shortfall by using their own money to save their own lives."

Having money will no longer mean being able to get better health care in the US. Everyone must have the same crappy government approved healthcare.

Hi,
This has been coming and has been the goal all along. Get seniors dead and off social security while you fund abortions and pay for health care for illegals. The quicker you get the seniors dead the quicker the racial mix changes and the more wealth the government can redistribute.
That is why my wife and I are headed to Panama to investigate health care options in April. Seniors will have to leave the country, just like the do in Canada if they want to stay alive.
I wrote our stupid democrat senator here in FL and asked him a question. Suppose you had a guy who was 90, and a Congressional Medal of Honor winner and he or his wife needed surgery. How could you possibly deny them care due to limited funds, then turn around and fund an abortion or give care to illegals? Must have been lost in the mail or something because he never answered it.
