Title: Friday Flurries
Post by: NHSparky on February 19, 2010, 08:14:22 AM
Unexpected snowstorm this morning.  No worries, not much of it and it'll be gone soon enough.

Fairly quiet day at work today, and coming in tomorrow for a few extras.  Not good news on the co-worker front.  He won't be allowed into the plant until his court date, and if found guilty, will almost certainly be fired.  Guess I won't be having that fourth Irish Car Bomb after work today.

:censored: I barely made it to work on time.  Damn car was frozen shut.

The weather folks say we are supposedto FINALLY get out of the 30's today!  Granted, it's only calling for 40, and the wind is blowing, but hey...I'll take what I can get!

Still surrounded by snow, though.

It might rain later, until then it's about 80 outside.

That's okay... enjoy it while it lasts.  What does the temperature get to during the summer?  110°?  115°? :evillaugh:

I love the dry heat compared to the humidity of the past.

PS: I will be on time to work, nothing frozen here except for my ass to the recliner right now.  :lmao:

Woke up this morning to 1-2" of white schtuff on the ground.  Poor son, he's go the same chest cold his mommy and I do, and so he can't go play in it.

Slightly overcast, but warmer. Snow predicted for the weekend.  I had asked yesterday about taking the weekend off.  Had to work a few hours this morning, but then got called a little while ago, and I have to go in tomorrow and Sunday.  :censored:

Whew!  Fixed my broken windshield wiper.  A bolt had come loose and wasn't holding the arm in place.  Glad it wasn't anything expensive.

I get my Saturdays & Tuesdays back -- it looks like that new schedule didn't work out for them.  I'm glad because I sure didn't enjoy it.  Off one day, work the next, off another day, and then work the next four days.  It was lousy.

We have already had more rain this year, then in all of last year.

With annual rainfall of less then 3 inches a year....I don't see many cars floating by.
