We're a day late with this thread. I'm sure Pam has checked here a hundred times watching for it. Tough. I will not post a bouncy lie before its time. This is one of DUmmy Pam's best bouncies in a long while. I think we can say she has started her campaign for re-election. This one is disguised as a lament about a cable outage, but her real purpose soon becomes obvious:

OH MY FRIKING GOD>>>ARE YOU SERIOUS>>>CABLE JUST MESSED UP
I have 15 people coming, tons of food and the cable is experiencing a "service outage"
I just got off the phone with a stupid little prick and he said they were aware we were in an outage area and that they had people "working diligently" on the problem
they could not estimate a time when it would be fixed and they could not disclose the problem
I told them we bundle, so if the problem wasn't fixed by game time, they would be refunding us and we would switch phone, cable and internet else where. WE pay over 200 a month for this
you would think that on the biggest game day of the frikin year we would have cable
damn but I am PISSED
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If we don't have cable by game time, we will eat our food then go to the sports bar down the street I guess...
and you pricks that are stalking me...GFY
5. Sorry you're experience cable troubles and I do understand
your anger somewhat. But really, is it the fault of the "stupid little prick" you spoke to? He is probably just doing his job and not being paid overly well for it either. He isn't the one in control of your situation.
I would hate to work in customer service. I wouldn't last a day if people called me names.
Uh-oh! Pam senses she may be ostracized for mistreating the stupid little prick at the cable company.
So, just like when her little slave girl lie started to blow up on her, she adjusts her lie:
Send somebody down to the store to grab a set of rabbit ears if you haven't got one. Problem solved.
18. Your rabbit ears should be plugged straight into your TV via coax
Not your Cable Converter box. TV should be set to "Air", not "Cable".
Do scan for channels and you might get it over the air.
A little desperation creeps into the storyline:
21. Most Plasmas dont need converter boxes.
Plug Antenna directly into TV. Make sure your tuner is set for "Air" and not cable. Run channel scan.
31. Im sorry, but... ... .... ... ... ... ... ...
.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!
.
Again, I apologize with the codicil that I think it's a reasonable reaction
to a post I'd expect from someone on the Right more than on the Left.
.
Infallibility is only assumed in the Pope (and most question that) and
he would charge you much more than $200/month for that "demanded
expectation".
.
By the way, I do my best to treat everyone nicely (though sometimes it's
hard... so difficult) AND I promise everyone that I'm not going to call
anyone a stupid little prick (or anything similar) when I'm done with this
post. I do mean that.
.
That would lead people to believe that perhaps I protesteth too much in
claiming that I had treated someone fairly and with basic human dignity
when I was so upset and addressing said stupid little prick directly in his
stupid little prick ear.
.
For all I know, he may be a stupid little prick. Hard for me to say without
a whole lot of first-hand knowledge of the man. Surely much more first-hand
knowledge that I could get from a single phone call (or a single post).
.
People have the right to expect good service and most, if not all, service
companies try to do that ESPECIALLY if they hope for repeat subscription-type
customers.
.
But, seriously... lighten up Francis.
.
By the way, general tip here: Customer service reps almost ALWAYS really
appreciate someone who is nice, even when they have serious issues with the
service/product. The majority of the reps I have known will go out of their
way -- often WAY ABOVE AND BEYOND - to help someone who DOES treat them with
that basic human dignity and understanding of THEIR awkward position as liaison.
No supplication or obsequiousness or demeaning of one's self is the least bit
necessary.
.
JUST. BE. NICE.
.
On the other hand, not the majority, but ALL the reps I have known will shut
down and do the absolute minimum necessary to get some arrogant, abusive,
unreasonably demanding and PRESUMPTUOUS caller out of their heads and out
of their lives and off their phones.
.
Walk a mile in their shoes. Hell, 100 yards would probably do it. Golden rule,
folks. Simple as that.
She freaking KNOWS that the DUmp is on to her stupid little stories which almost always include evidences of her opulent wealth and yet she keeps doing it. :lmao:
I would move that Pam be considered to be at least a co holder with moron Beth of the title stupidest person on the Internet.
-
Since I'm not able to get cable out here in the NC woods I don't know about these things, but If you have bundled cable service wouldn't a service outage kill your TV, internet and phone connection?
That and if she has a plasma TV it most certainly can use just a plain old set of rabbit ears to get over the air channels without a converter box. Her husband was probably too "sauced up" before the game and was trying to plug the digital converter box into the coffee maker or something like that.
-
Pammy, who is on chemo by the way, had to get a Mod to lock her thread cos there were just too many posters saying mean things to her. Luckily, she was able to get in her little digs at the other Primitives about how many things she has, how much she's spent on them, how many friends she has and how smart her husband is.
Good find, GOBUCKS, sir.
Remarkable.
And we all thank you, myself especially.
Yes indeed, an excellent find. A most entertaining thread, either here or else where.
lol. Well, she didn't win Top Dummie because of brilliance. This is an awesome find. If she's going to make stuff up to brag about her toys, she should at least figure out what the toys can or can't do. Hubby is a guru, but he can't figure out that new digital tech televisions have built-in digital tuners? Pam, for shame. You're making your hubby sound less than a guru.
:lmao: The mods inadvertently, or maybe not, added insult to injury by showing that she requested the lock.
somehow I think her hubby is a saint to put up with her. One day she bitches that he's so mean to her next day he's mr romantic and takes her on a cruise. Then after the cruise she wants to get food from the food bank.
My first memory of the plagiarizing primitive was she was having a yard sale (the bush economy was so bad) and she called up Randi Rhodes and talked about selling used underwear at yard sales. :lmao:
3. I'm too lazy to transcribe, but . . .
They went on for a moment about gb's yard sale, and then gb told her story of how she walked out of her church in protest of an anti-liberal joke. Randi suggested that all evangelicals should fly to Iraq, as it would be best for everyone concerned. The conversation then ended with Randi calling gb a brave woman. :)
audio file is gone but she spewed a bouncy on err amurika. :lmao:
We have a bundle. Its odd that the cable will go out and the phone won't work but the internet will, or the internet and phone go out but not the TV. Very strange. And the time we let the bill go and they turned off the cable and phone and the high speed internet still worked.
I don't think plain old rabbit ears work with digital-TV, you need digital TV rabbit ears. :-)
That's a beauty! I don't remember it at all! And notice the date, just a couple of weeks before the round red queer's timely demise. The Andyscam was still an open, festering wound on the DUmbass community. What a coincidence. First Johns Hopkins, then Mayo Clinic. I'm surprised she isn't getting her chemo from Cleveland Clinic or Mass General.
Can you imagine how pissed she was at Grandma Bonnie for dying in the middle of the second quarter?
Well, sounds like she had a busy week.
She was released from the hospital on Saturday.
Her sister's house burned down on Sunday.
Had some freezing rain, one day last week.
Then, Friday she was planning her Super Bowl shin dig, with Scotch Eggs, meatballs, etc for her guests. (I am sure she didn't eat any.)
And she was busy cleaning up the house when her Grandma almost died, and then did die, in the middle of her FRIKING cable going out, and maybe having to go to a bar, but then the cable came back.
