Part 2 (I was a CIA operative)
Edited on Sat Feb-06-10 11:28 AM by Jeffersons Ghost
Over 60% of the people used by the CIA are not directly employed by the agency. Some are even volunteers.
Even before WW2, where Radio Free Europe transmitted orders and warnings to the Free French in Paris, mass media was an effective vehicle for messages to intelligence operatives.
My professional background is in radio, TV and newspaper. I was like a relay point, to some degree. I took information from one source and relayed it to another. I have no idea how these simple phrases, or occasionally single words, were used. I'm sure the Valentines Day commercial that said "Why not send HIM roses." brought about a St. Valentines Day Massacre in some cases. In most cases, however, it simply caused men to get a gift that they didn't want.
With items like this OP, the primary objective is the discredit the author. If you can't intimidate people into silence, making them look stupid or crazy is a strategy straight out of the beginners playbook. What my online critics and certain agencies fail to understand is that at this point I care very little about what they say or think. I have been diagnosed with cancer.
My last OP on this topic was locked. No reason was given by the Moderator. It said "WE" are locking this because of a "consensus."
My computer has developed some odd software issues, so I won't be able to respond to subsequent postings as well as I'd like. It's probably a virus.
My next article will deal with these current stories on CIA torture in a more open-handed manner than we see in traditional media.

Good grief get on with the story man. I know it's hard to make this shit up but this grueling.
The CIA must have put that virus on your computer.

Radio Free Europe was around before the second world war?
I thought it was established in 1948 or something.

27. I'm sorry
I think it's best if I lock this. Please don't post any more of these. Thanks.
That's from one of the Big Three, remember.

Jefferson is going to give up the ghost if he posts something like that again

EOM.

You know, it's very sad.
This is better stuff than what the Bostonian Drunkard posts.
I think Skins's island would be better served if Lord Marblehead slammed the lock-hammer down on the Bostonian Drunkard instead, asking him to "please not post any more of this sort of thing....."

Can you blame them for locking it up? It might tarnish their reputation.

This guy isn't fit to urinate on TiT's boots. TiT was at least creative and entertaining. This dude sounds like that unwashed drug addled crazy person with the placard seen walking around the city streets on occasion.

Keeping in mind the "reputation" that the DU presently has, I'd substitute polish in place of tarnish there.

Remember the classic DUmp photo of the fat chick crying over the Ohio election result in 2004?
This guy sounds like that squirrelly little misfit who was sitting next to the fat chick, peering around the side of a sign.

The CIA got to Elad and made him close the thread.

4. Is the implication the Elad is CIA, or that the CIA got to Elad and made him lock it?

23. I'm pretty sure you imagined all of that.
People fired because you outed their spook activities aimed at you? On a message board? In terms so ridiculous no one would believe any of it?

Yes, today it's Stupid Bowl II, the Dolts vs. the Sane-nots, Peyote Maddening vs. DU Breeze, in Rad Zone Red, while the commentary of your humble guest correspondent, Charles Henrickson, enjoying the return of nice weather for my last couple days here in Orange County, is in the [brackets]:
