CSPIN: Tea Bag Central...
Looks like Brian Lamb has jumped aboard. So far this morning they opened the phone lines to Teabaggers only...letting them spew talking points over and over. Then they're promoting their "full coverage" of the bagger coven. Thank goodness for my headphones and a lot of good tunes...

1. There is no place on TV in the morning not to hear total RW spin now.
I'm a regular viewer of Washington Journal, and yes I call all the time. Since Obama took office this show has taken an even harder right turn than normal.

3. They Should Rename It "Heritage Institute TV"
This is a classic way to "frame" without making it appear obvious...throw in a couple Democrats to pretend there's some balance (most are bums-rushed off the phones).
I used to enjoy this show every morning...lately I watch for a few minutes and have had my fill.

7. Question - how come they still give out the phone numbers for ReTHUGS first? I thought Dems were in power.
Liberal media my ass.

9. Don't You Know The Drill By Now...
Someone just called in telling Gretta to change the network's logo to "Faux Noise"!!
"We do our best to balance our guests"...."look at our programming "overall" (an admission the caller is spot on!!)
The phones always have been one rushpublican, one democrat, one rushpublican, one independent, one rushpublican...

12. I got through last week, and made a comment on the fact that every single editorial they picked to read was RW and her answer was that they try to read what the people in Washington DC were reading.
I don't want liberal TV, I just want even handed TV.

4. Righty Friday with Greta and the teabaggers.
Giving plenty of time to the teabaggers.
It is sad to see the fall of C-SPAN. C-SPIN? C-FOX?

11. Probably at 3am on CSPIN-5
Finding a progressive on that network is rare indeed. Or if one is on, it's usually a "debate" with some wingnut. This definitely isn't friendly territory.

13. There are a total of 600 teabaggers at this event and corporate media is spinning it as if it were a quarter of a million people.
I remember when a quarter of a million people surrounded the White House and the media never showed up to cover it.
I think corporate media doesn't know how to count.

14. Sure They Do...
It's folding green. They tend to the interests of their corporate masters and have rewritten the rules to ensure they are the gatekeeprs of information about our government and political dynamic. Showing people protesting a war that GE stands to make billions is "bad business"...and running contrary to the rah rah, let's go to war cause it'll mean big ratings. Those malcontents protesting...just a bunch of hippie slackers who will profane the airwaves.
Inversely we're seeing a classic astroturf job...the corporate media is attempting to call the teabaggers some kind of "independent" movement, but those who have looked "under the hoods" see the gubby hands of various rushpublican operatives who are pumping money to create the impression of some kinda of discontent.
Oh my.

I just don't get it. If I were a DUmmy, I'd be on my feet cheering on this Tea Party nonsense. It represents the best chance the socialists have for fragmenting the Republican vote and keeping the left in power. Some day soon, we'll hear a tea partier talking about "that giant sucking sound".

I guess since they were told not to watch MSNBC by the messiah....

You would think if they really thought the "teabaggers" were crazy nutjobs that they would want them on air as much as possible so that more people would be turned off by the insanity. Kind of like how we want MSNBC to remain on the air. Makes you think they are afaid that the majority of American's aren't with them.

Target!
Again, lurking DUmb****s, denial is not just a river in Egypt. It's also the whole basis of the Democrat Party nowadays.

I wonder what the DUmbasses have against Brian Lamb and C-span. I mean he's just trying to hold Obambi to his word about televising the health care debates and the like. Oh wait...
