Sleazy teddy bears. You don't get out much.
-
Stupid butt Pro Flowers.

I bought myself a box of Russel Stover fancy chocolates while I was in the Hallmark store... I didn't want to feel left out this year. The caramels and nougats are pretty good; I'm not big on the cremes and truffels.

You need to go to the Russel Stover outlet store! I'm not sure where the closest one is to you...but I'm pretty sure there's one at Lebanon.
We have one over near Sweetwater.....5lb boxes for a couple of dollars. They are the rejects. Plain white box, candy just dumped into the box. The rest of the stuff is about half of what it is in Hallmark or the drug stores. Plus they have a counter with caramel apples and novelty stuff. I haven't been there at Valentine Day time, but I have right before Easter....it's just wonderful.
and so sad that I can get sooooo excited over a chocolate store outlet.... :thatsright:

My cousin visits every other year from England and goes to the R-S outlet store.

That is funny, because when my buddies in Holland and England come over here, we are all BEGGING them for candy. I love Cadbury Flake. And Kinder Eggs.
-
The missus and I have a package of king crab legs and a package of lobster tails from Sam's that we'll be whipping up for Valentines day. For dessert - assuming we don't get "distracted" :naughty: - we'll have homemade rum cheesecake. If we haven't been distracted by then, we certainly will be afterwards, and we won't have dropped a dime at Hallmark, ProFlowers, Vermont Teddy Bear or Pajamagram.
Don't expect to see me online that night. :II:

Apparently we are in for another snow nor'easter this weekend -- what joy!! :hammer:

Maybe YOU are. We're not. Too far north.

My cousin is big on chocolates... she likes Goo Goo clusters.
The Publix here has a small selection of English candy. Some of the chocolate candies are really good (Smarties > M&M's). I need to find somewhere I can order a few boxes of Quality Street and have them mailed to me.

We discovered Kinder Eggs at a Polish grocery store in Philly about 10-15 years ago and buy a few every year when we stock up on kielbasa, etc at Christmas & Easter -- our son loves them!

I can get em here at a couple of German shops I go to. Kind of takes the fun out of it though. Back in 'the day" I used to look forward to getting them from friends that came back from overseas. I don't buy them for myself, even though I could.
I will however buy some Ritter Sport when I can find it.

Stupid butt Pro Flowers.
That place sucks.
Messed up my order once (didn't deliver on the right day), and the flowers seem to last a few hours.
