License to Kill? Intel Chief Says U.S. Can Take Out American Terrorists(Can Assassinate US Citizens)
Source: ABC News
The director of national intelligence affirmed rather bluntly today that the U.S. intelligence community has authority to target American citizens for assassination if they present a direct terrorist threat to the United States.
"We take direct actions against terrorists in the intelligence community, if … we think that direct action will involve killing an American, we get specific permission to do that," Director of National Intelligence Dennis Blair told the House Intelligence Committee.
Rep. Peter Hoekstra D-Mich., addressed the issue at today's hearing.
"The targeting of Americans -- it's a very sensitive issue, but again there's been more information in the public domain that what has been shared with this committee," he said.
"There is no clarity." Hoekstra said. "What is the legal framework?"
"Whether that American is involved in a group that is trying to attack us, whether that American has -- is a threat to other Americans. Those are the factors involved." Blair explained. "We don't target people for free speech. We target them for taking action that threatens Americans."
According to U.S. officials only a handful of Americans would be eligible for targeting by U.S. intelligence or military operations. The legal guidance is determined by the National Security Council and the Justice Department.

Who are you kidding? Tea partiers don't need bodyguards from the likes of these twits. We just pull back on the charging handle and show them what firepower is really all about.

I guess the Little Goons have never heard of the late Mr. Charles Whitman of the University of Texas at Austin.

You know, that's interesting to me. There's hardly a person in the world whose mother didn't warn against running with scissors, myself included. But she never said a word about running with an ice pick, or a butcher knife. I was likewise warned against going into the water, even if only knee deep, within a half hour of eating so much as a cracker. There was something about contact with water that would interact with recently eaten food, and cause immediate paralyzing cramps and drowning. And reading in dim light or sitting too close to the TV was certain to permanently damage your eyes. For years, I was warned that more than one bottle of Coke per day was a sure ticket to diabetes. I obeyed every one of those cautions, survived, and today have excellent vision and no diabetes.

3. Let's hope they do the same shitty job for them that they do for Obama. Only by replacing the pukes on the bench can their decisions be reversed.

Now tell me GoB, did you not break all these rules? I know I did! Me and every other kid our age. We were brought up to test boundaries. Today anything does, so there are no boundaries to cross!
