Why, it must be sociopathy, of course!

If Repub. congressmen make false statements to Obama, face to face, does it mean that they,

themselves, believe what they are saying? I've known for a long time that
sociopaths' definition of "truth" is what is beneficial for them, and "a lie"
is whatever that's not beneficial for them or their cause. Whether something
has actually happened or not doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to
them.
They probably don't understand truth in the way we do. Otherwise, why would
they repeat these stupidities to Pres. Obama, himself, and on TV? It only provided
him with easy opportunities to refute their lies -- which only makes the
Repubs. look absurd! Would they do that deliberately? I doubt it!
From our point of view, they probably don't know the difference between a truth
and a lie -- except in the way they define them. Could that be a reason why we
find them to be such liars? Maybe think think we are such liars!
Between 2% and 4% of the general population is sociopathic. Although they
are found in all professions, the percentage is higher in certain
ones -- like business executives and politicians -- neocons in particular.

Of course this is coming from the mightiest menagerie of medicated misfits.
New thread. Will post anything rating higher than yawn-worthy.

8. You are right. I think Obama should have some mental
health professionals with expertise in sociopathy to counsel
and advise him on undestanding and how to cope with sociopaths
They could also discuss Narcissistic Personality Disorder, Megalomania, Paranoia, and Delusions of Grandeur.

No DUmmies, we want Change. :evillaugh:

DUmmie says, "They probably don't understand truth in the way we do." Now that's a fact, Jack.....a grain of truth in an otherwise false statement.

Well now, this is one of the principal characteristics of the primitives on Skins's island:
.....they, themselves, believe what they are saying? I've known for a long time that sociopaths' definition of "truth" is what is beneficial for them, and "a lie" is whatever that's not beneficial for them or their cause. Whether something has actually happened or not doesn't make the slightest bit of difference to them.
franksolich and Margaret Mead couldn't have possibly put it any better.

Hmm .... Yeah, there's been a whole lotta "refutation" of lies around here lately .... too bad those were all lies told by Embattled President Obama, and the refuting was being done by conservatives, and no less an authority than a Supreme Court justice.

The o'Bummer couldn't tell the truth if his nutz were lit on fire! We're talkin' about a guy who looked Repubs in the eye today, and told them he was open to bi-partisanship! Anyone here believe that shirt?
What I'm afraid of is the worthless Repubs currently in office, will kiss this guys tush!

No DUmmies, we want Change.
Well, I guess I have to disagree on that. For whatever reason, I rarely see or have any interactions with DUmmies. But when I do, I almost invariably end up saying, "Keep the change."

Projection. This DUmmie just described Liberals to a "T"

So confronting the President...who came to US at the Republican confab...with facts that refute the BS in his SOTU address is absurd and "repeating lies"?
Let's talk about "repeating lies" shall we? Do you REALLY want to go down this road?
From our point of view, they probably don't know the difference between a truth
and a lie -- except in the way they define them. Could that be a reason why we
find them to be such liars? Maybe think think we are such liars!
From normal Americans point of view the way you try to spin this country as a collection of racists bigoted homophobes is the lie.
Believing that the country wants to become the Socialist utopia that you so crave is what makes you a liar.
Between 2% and 4% of the general population is sociopathic. Although they
are found in all professions, the percentage is higher in certain
ones --
And between 90-95 percent of them can be found at Kos/HuffPo/DU and the other 5-10% can be found in the halls of the DNC and Congress.
like business executives and politicians -- neocons in particular.
Remind me again who is "repeating lies"?
