On y'alls recommendations I decided to go for SQL.
No prob.
Found book, SQL for Absolute beginners (A Harris). It teaches one HTML and PHP as precursors beofer delving into SQL in the latter 2/3 of the book.
Again: No prob.
I'm rather enjoying this. I've gotten to the point where I'm recognizing commands, syntax etc. I may not have them committed to memory to free-hand it but that is just a matter of time.
No prob, thrice now.
PROB?
I think I've become obsessed over data bases. Something about them fascinated me. I see the lines of code and I'm in awe to climb in and jiggle-wiggle everything I can.
:pervert:
It's just a ****ing data base! It SHOULD be only slightly more interesting than chartered accountancy. (I want to be a lion tamer!*) There is no rational reason to be so enthralled, but enthralled I am.
help?
* 1 million innerwebz bucks to whoever gets the reference first.

SQL is interesting and can be profitable if you're competent with it. It's a usefull skill to have.
