No one in the media has brought up the ultimate snub from Pres. Obama during his speech last night. He gave a shout out to Michelle Obama- twice, Joe Biden- once, but to the two officers who brought down the Ft. Hood terrorist and who were sitting right next to the First Lady, he said nothing.

I find in these situations its better to think about how this could be his only term....it puts a big grin on my face.

I didn't see all of the speech but for them to be sitting next to the First lady and he didn't give em a shout out is very weird. I guess the TOTUS forgot to display that part.

Rushmore:

It's actually quite appropriate, if you think about it, because he's been practicing that position - and that line - for so long with every other country on Earth.

How does the saying go? Don't worry about yesterday because you'll piss all over today? Something like that. Anyway, I often wonder how this asshole could have become elected to the highest office in the land. That's simply incomprehensible to me.

Smug, arrogant, oily, slick, the quintessentially vapid politician. No substance, no character, no discipline.

How could so many people in our country have been so blind? :thatsright:

I have no idea how one could be stupid enough to vote for him...but apparently there were a lot. I just hope they have learned their lesson.

Hi,

Went to the Beck/O'Reilly show at the University of South Florida last night. I thought the funniest line of the night was when O'Reilly said he wanted to give a shout out to professor El Sharif.......now you may recall he was the professor who was raising money for Al Queida (or was it Hamas?) and was a professor at that very school. O'Reilly was a main player in bringing him down.

PS: I just read the morning paper. I screwed up, the guy's name was Sami Al Arian.... The guy who wrote the article in the Tampa Tribune did a good job.

He invited them and didn't acknowledge them? Normally, when Presidents invite people like that, it's to honor THEM. I'm sure he thought he was honoring them by allowing them to be in his presence. What a dick. Yeah, I agree... :bird:

I doubt Obama personally compiled the checklist. Probably a media-savvy intern who figured it'd be bad juju if the cameras panned over to saw Lynne Stewart and Ward Churchill shouting back to Barry.

Hence, Obama never recognized the heroes.

Not his type.

The same kind that gives a shout before talking about the Fort Hood shootings. Hell he may as well have opened with a joke that day it would have been just as classy.
