POLITICO's Kasie Hunt, who's in the House chamber, reports that Justice Samuel Alito mouthed the words "not true" when President Barack Obama criticized the Supreme Court's campaign finance decision.
"Last week, the Supreme Court reversed a century of law to open the floodgates for special interests — including foreign corporations — to spend without limit in our elections," Obama said. "Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled by America’s most powerful interests, or worse, by foreign entities. They should be decided by the American people, and that’s why I’m urging Democrats and Republicans to pass a bill that helps to right this wrong."
The shot of the black-robed Supreme Court justices, stone-faced, was priceless.

Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) was glad the president called out the Supreme Court.
"He [Alito] deserved to be criticized, if he didn't like it he can mouth whatever they want," Weiner said. "These Supreme Court justices sometimes forget that we live in the real world. They got a real world reminder tonight, if you make a boneheaded decision, someone's going to call you out on it."

“The President’s swipe at the Supreme Court was a breach of decorum, and represents the worst of Washington politics — scapegoating ‘special interest’ bogeymen for all that ails Washington in attempt to silence the diverse range of speakers in our democracy,†said Bradley A. Smith, chairman of the Center for Competitive Politics, in The Corner blog on Nationalreview.com.

For a "constitutional lawyer", hussein isn't particularly bright; never mind the fact that he's a junior senator halfwit.
A cheap shot like that is beyond low class and is pretty friggin' stupid considering how many challenges to his eligibility that are in the wind right now.
Sounds to me like he just dared the SCOTUS to take them up.
-
Because Obama just can't help himself when it comes to getting personally involved in spiteful attacks with people he disagrees with he has managed to yet again drown his intended message in the oceans of his vanity.
-
They overturned a law preventing these people from doing last day adds and stuff.
Honestly, if you haven't made your mind up by that point, and you can be influenced by theses adds, please just don't bother voting anyways.
-
you miss the irony..
Obama spent more on his campaign than anyone in history and refused to disclose donor lists.... And then lectures the SCOTUS? :rotf:
-
I like how Alito shook his head from side to side. You can just tell he was thinking to himself, "You lying sack of shit."

Well considering there are three separate places in the 170+ page decision where it clearly states that the ruling doesn't apply to foreign donations...Justice Alito's thinking would be correct.
Not to mention that the man dressing them down on national television took boatloads of cash from front groups operated by a man named Soros.
-
Obama lied, and he knows it. He said that they made it so Foreign companies can donate...well that's just not true. And the law which they overturned is only 10 years old. We needed Joe Wilson to jump up and scream "You Lie"!!
-
I am so glad Justice Alito was on camera when he reacted with honest emotion to that phony-ass lying sack of nothing's creepy lies.
Thank you, Justice Alito. A bit of truth escaped.
-
I think the Magic Negro is going to regret dressing down the S.C. He puts Clinton to shame with his lies.
-
Where's Monica Lewinsky when you need her?
-
Justice Alito is my new hero.
The "You Lie!" headshake heard around the world.

I think you are right.
This has become as much of a focal point of the SOTU as anything else.
Hmmm.....we have a president who is not only a lawyer but a supposed expert who doesn't understand a Supreme Court ruling and basically ignores the facts that not only are we at war, but our enemies are still attacking us in our own country on land and in the air.
Great leadership. :censored:

True, but it leaves absolutely no doubt remaining that he got into Harvard Law as strictly a quota-filler.

Harvard Law School is one thing: how the **** this 'tard got on the Law Review is another matter entirely.

You think that "affirmative action" doesn't effect the Law Review as well as everything else in an Ivy League school?

Same way.
You have to remember how old he is.
He was in an Ivy League school in the late 70's early 80's. Probably not a great deal of diversity at that time.
