It's worth going to the link to see the huge mob of moonbats who came out for socialized medicine in Kansas City. What a crowd.

Our health care rally tonight - pictures
It was really cold but we drew a good crowd and were very well received.

What did they have there? 8-10 people, tops!
Looks like they had 8 people and 20 signs....
-
I had more people in my kitchen tonight.
-
Damn, that's pathetic.
A book-signing event by the Bostonian Drunkard would draw more.
Not many, but more.
-
MediCare or all?
Wait, we all DO get MediCare when we hit 60 or something don't we?
If we all get on MediCare that means 300 million takes out of the bucket, how many will be putting into the bucket?
Withholding from checks will have to double or more. Since MediCare pays doctors crap, we'll have shortages fast. Like RomneyCare.
-
"Change takes Vision and Justice" read one of the signs. What the hell does that mean, and what is a viewer supposed to take away from it?
"No Health Reform = No jobs" I'm also having difficulty with this one. Not only is it NOT an equation, probably the opposite is true. Without the threat of Moonbatcare, John Galt might come back from his gulch.
All in all, compared to the brilliant signs the Tea Party has come up with, let alone the kajillions more people showing up even in my little cow town, a big fat FAIL.

KC Metro area population = 2,000,000
Universal Healthcare Rally = 14
0.000007% of the population
I'm impressed.

Read this article about a "dozen" people waiting in line for Obama. Read what the two people in the article want from Obama. :thatsright:

"Can you do anything about my bank's overdraft charges?"
wow.
-
Tonya Wideman, 46, of Port Tampa
snip
said she was eager to ask Obama about his first-time homeowner tax credit, a program she thought was a good idea until banks turned her away because she has no credit.
"I thought I did all the right things by not getting into debt with credit cards," Wideman said. "Now I'm getting penalized."
"I'm two sticks away from being homeless," she said.
LOL She thinks she is being turned away for not using credit cards but evidently she doesn't have any money!

"Can you do anything about my bank's overdraft charges?"
wow.
Simple, avoid them by NOT SPENDING MONEY YOU DON'T HAVE!
Oh wait, that's too responsible for DUmmies.
-
The crowd may be limited in scope, but, the entitlement expectations are off the chart.
-
To the lurking DUers, the sad stories you all post are similar. There is always more to the story which ends up making you look just as stupid as the two in this article. This is the type of crap that pisses off normal people.
Face it.....you aren't normal.

Interesting thing about that "crowd." Remember how the libs and pundits remarked that all the Teapartiers were white and seasoned? Well, except for the one colored lady, looks like a bunch of "teabaggers." Damn racists. :naughty:
-
"I thought I did all the right things by not getting into debt with credit cards," Wideman said. "Now I'm getting penalized."
Hmmm...one dones not need to go into debt, but one must build a credit history. 40 some years old with no credit history? Sounds fishy. Anyway, lady, bad credit is better than no credit.

Now that's mean, and probably racist, to put their rally into numbers. Everyone knows how important Single-Payer Public Option Health Care is, and so they were really representing many others, like DU. Since there are at least a few hundred thousand DU'ers, and each person at the rally representing them, it was like having a Million Mentally Ill and Needing Medical Marijuana Man March going on in KC.
Of course the right wing press didn't cover such a huge turnout.

I do believe you nailed that one. I don't believe for one second she has NO credit. No credit cards ... yeah, I can believe that due to all the BAD credit she has.
As usual the liberals only tell part of the story. Liberals and their ilk have never heard of "Lying by ommission" therefore if they tell part of the story and that part is factual then they are golden.

The guy from BEG's article who wants his overdraft fees reduced wants to run for president.
Wade, a political science student at Indian River State College in Vero Beach, has his sights set on Obama's post.
"This might be for me one day," Wade said of the ticket line.
He said he left Vero Beach at midnight to drive to Tampa and ask Obama two questions: "How has the presidency changed you?" and "Can you do anything about my bank's overdraft charges?"
:mental:

That reminds me of the woman in CA running for City Council whose mother was mummified for years while the woman denied she was dead,

He said he left Vero Beach at midnight to drive to Tampa and ask Obama two questions: "How has the presidency changed you?" and "Can you do anything about my bank's overdraft charges?"
He overlooked that probing question that gave Barbara Walters much of her fame: "If you were a tree, what kind would it be?"
-
"Can you do anything about my bank's overdraft charges?"
Uh.....how 'bout ya quit writin' hot checks, stooopid? Then, surprise, surprise, no overdraft charges! Ya frikkin' idiot!!!!!!!!!

I just wanted to call him a stooopid idiot at the same time! heh, heh! We all know they slither around in the shadows over here.

The other night on NBC they had a show about the healthcare crisis. It was about three people, each story was horrific of course, but each story left me with a TON of questions that were not answered. They did have someone from the "other side" but he came off looking like a mean guy because he said that if insurance companies paid for everything then they would go bankrupt (which is true) but that is basically all he said.
The questions I had about the first guy was why doesn't he have SSI (he will never be able to care for himself) and why didn't he have Medicare?
The next guy had a rare form of cancer and the insurance company had paid for everything the doctors suggested they use. The doctors had no more options, he was going to die. The doctors wanted to try an experimental treatment for him. The insurance company refused. He qualified for the experimental treatment and the drug company agreed to pay for it but the insurance company had to agree to cover any "damage" caused by the "experimental treatment". The insurance company refused. The drug company said that he wouldn't qualify for the experimental treatment if the insurance company wouldn't agree to cover any damages caused by their treatment. They fought it (as I would) and a month later the insurance company agreed to cover it. By that time he had gone down hill too much and no longer qualified for the experiment. The wife blames the insurance company yet I was left with a list of questions that the show did not ask nor answer. One of the questions I would have LOVED for them to ask is if this guy was covered by medicare would the government have denied it too? I'm sure they would have and they wouldn't have reconsidered and finally agree to it.

This whole scenario is BS! If ObamaCare went thru, he would never even have had this choice! Thy would just give him a pill! The Bummer has said so himself!
I don't suppose anyone brought that up, did they?

The looks on the faces of the producers would have been priceless. They'd probably be too spitting mad to answer properly.

Nope that won't do it either :-)
When my wife and I tried to buy a house we both had a Zero for our credit score. We were going to buy a brand new home with no money down (Bond money) and closing costs covered by the builder. Momma got into a fight with her boss, quit her job and ended that deal 2 weeks before closing. We had nothing more than letters establishing we paid our bills on time. We had gotten a pre-paid card with WaMu just before the quitting and didn't have a "score" until a couple of months after.
The house we're in now was also bond money down, seller paid the closing costs and we got back almost $1500 in returned closing costs and insurance overcharge. Our card was canceled when Chase took over WAMU. We had a magic number but it was diminished by the account having been closed. When we started in on buying this place we had to supply a letter stating why the account was closed. Then we opened another pre-paid at one of the local credit unions. We got by the 3 months payments cash-in-the-bank requirement by showing I had enough money in my retirement plans at work. That all was enough to get an FHA loan with State bond money for no money down with middling credit and not alot of cash in the bank.
