Americans are idiots.
Poll: Fox is most trusted name in news
A poll finds that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.
Fox is the most trusted television news network in the country, according to a new poll out Tuesday.
A Public Policy Polling nationwide survey of 1,151 registered voters Jan. 18-19 found that 49 percent of Americans trusted Fox News, 10 percentage points more than any other network.
Thirty-seven percent said they didn’t trust Fox, also the lowest level of distrust that any of the networks recorded.
There was a strong partisan split among those who said they trusted Fox — with 74 percent of Republicans saying they trusted the network, while only 30 percent of Democrats said they did.
CNN was the second-most-trusted network, getting the trust of 39 percent of those polled. Forty-one percent said they didn’t trust CNN.
Each of the three major networks was trusted by less than 40 percent of those surveyed, with NBC ranking highest at 35 percent. Forty-four percent said they did not trust NBC, which was combined with its sister cable station MSNBC.

1. Fox and Politico...
Are proof that Americans are idiots. I doubt the poll means anything, however.

2. What's your point?
Of course Americans are idiots.
You have to cut the DUmmies some slack on this "Americans are idiots" business. Remember, these are people who were convinced Lord Rove stole the elections in 2000 and 2004, because they didn't know anyone to voted for W. They live in blue cesspools like New York, and coastal California, immersed in moonbats. So, considering their environment, the Americans around them really are idiots.

Go to Walmart and you'll see it's true.
Maybe "kayakjohnny" is Osama bin Laden's DUmp username:

4. Idiots and also lazy and apathetic and selfish and wasteful.
Americans need to be stripped of everything that was ever sacred to them, just to remind them of all the things they never fought for.
Myself included.

I'm accustomed to Stalinist democrats at the DUmp. They don't surprise me at all. But I have to admit shock and disgust when someone comes out against blondes with legs and boobs. And he calls us idiots?
More sadness at the unhappy DUmp:

It is sad and depressing.. and very scary

Yes, you have to wonder just how stupid Roger Ailes really is. Having long legged blondes who are both hot and smart on the air is a crazy business model. Seriously, who would ever watch something like that???
-
So blondes with legs and boobs can't be smart?!? How very enlightened of you.
-
Sorry, I assumed the sarcasm was obvious. I will try harder next time.

Tell you what asshole...why don`t you just try to come and take it from me? :bird:
You won`t like the welcome greeting I have for you.

I often have Fox News on in the background, but only half pay attention to it. It's my main way of hearing about and posting breaking news on here.

All the ones on here are smart as whips, and twice as much fun! ;)

Just keep in mind that to primitives "smart people" are those that can be controlled, like they are.

I rarely watch it, unless there happens to be something important going on. Even then, I'll flip around to the other news stations just for curiosity's sake.
-
Ill watch Fox if there is something important happening, but most of the time I don't watch any news network - the one thing they all have in common is they commentary every story to death.
For example, 'Balloon Boy' - once it was determined that the parents were a couple of liars, it should have ended.. but no.
-
In the last reporting period Fox News Channel was #1 prime time of all cable. ALL CABLE CHANNELS!! It was #3 in the "day time".
wait didn't the DUmmies tell us THEY were the majority just a week ago?? Now we're all idiots?
lol

Well, based on the result of the last Presidential election, I would have to say you have a point.
But the good thing about idiocy is, in the majority of cases, reality is the cure.

Not only that, but they have a sense of humor about it. Look at the Red Eye "leg chair." Viewers will write in and bitch when they mistakenly stick some guy there. The ladies that really do belong there just laugh. A lefty feminist will get her dander all up and get all huffy and offended.

My mom is pretty much a homebound disabled person these days......COPD and almost, but not quite, blind. She has been pretty politically minded all of her life, and her biggest dissapointment is that she can't get online, because she can't see to read anymore. So, she spends her day watching (listening) to various news channels, to see the difference in spin, from MSNBC, CNN, and FOX, etc. She has hours and hours to do her analysis, and she enjoys doing so.
I speak to her often, and let her provide me with the play by play of what she has heard, and tells me what to look out for.
I think she thinks it is her job, to make sure that I am enlightened and aware.
Oh yeah, and she likes FOX best.
Oh yeah, and she was gonna vote for Hillary if she won, but then she voted for McCain, because she wouldn't vote for Obama.

Yes, but to do that, she would have to ADMIT she is pretty much blind. It took me two years to get her mind open to audio books. Which worked when she was in the hospital, because they didn't have cable there. She would just rather hear the news I guess. :clueless:

A friend of mine's father, Charlie, would listen to baseball games on the radio, never on TV. I asked him why, he said he liked the commentary, and the visions he would have in his mind of the game.
Oh, DUmmies, FOX has legs and boobs................................nuf said.

You may recall that not long ago coach conducted an experiment to see if certain words in a thread title might promote more traffic.
This thread suggests that the words "Fox News" have that effect.

I still do this. Just sounds better. Also, it reminds me of being a kid, when they maybe showed one game a week on TV.

The only time we would listen to the radio was in the car, and on summer trips, Dad would always have on a baseball game. I got to love to listen to the games on the radio when we went somewhere. It always sounded exciting. I can't watch it on tv though. It's just not the same.

I hear ya...summer night, sitting on the tailgate of the truck or station wagon, eating ice cream or a root beer float...man, how I miss those days.

You're absolutely correct, sir; carefully crafted headlines draw the primitives.
If one puts my fellow alum Skins in a headline, it draws primitives like crazy.
If one puts the Bostonian Drunkard or Pedro Picasso in a headline, the thread dies.
There's certain words, too, that don't pertain to individuals, that work, but I already gave away too many of my secrets.

A phrase that never fails to draw me in is "Heads Assplode."

LMAO I swear I just about said something like, ".....and Schade would beg to differ". :p

I was concerned that adding the word "butts" to the title would disqualify the thread for The DUmpster,
to say nothing of causing a bandwidth problem.
