Is it the President's job to create jobs?

I ask because I'm hearing a lot of crap from fake patriots down here in Mississippi that "Obama should create jobs." This from people who don't want the government "in our lives." This from "rugged individualists" who get their "facts" from right wing radio.

No and every conservative will tell you that is not in his job description. However his policies are killing jobs and he keeps claiming he saved and created jobs. That is what we are complaining about. If lord zero brags about creating and saving jobs where in the hell are they?

What the president should be doing is making policies that encourage growth and, leave the govt out of the private sector. I bet you anything if businesses were no longer worried about what congress may do to them we would see some growth. Obama has made it so businesses who profit will get taxed higher because they can afford it since they made money. Then there are the costs if the HC bill comes to life. If Obama would stick to constitutional duties the market would right itself eventually.

Right or wrong, in the job description or out of it, the public holds every President accountable for the shit that ain't working during his time in office, and to a much lesser extent holds them high for the stuff that does work, even if it's demonstrably and totally undeserved for both extremes.  It just goes with being the head of state.  Anyone who can't deal with it needs to just put the entire political process on 'Ignore' and stay away from the news.

2. Government Can Only Pay People If They First Take Those Resources From Others

My humble opinion is that it is not the government's job to create jobs.

In other words, they might create jobs, but how many jobs were destroyed?

Wait a minute liberalism is based on taking resources without compensation from others so why would this be a problem for you?

Depending on where in Mississippi Hog lives, I'll bet he wouldn't dare say those words out loud on any public street corner.   :-)

I saw no fake patriots while we lived there. Thems beatdown words right there.   :rotf:  For real.

Isn't that because of all the entry-level VRWC agents who were going into their houses at night and moving the furniture around and unscrewing the light bulbs?

At least that's how I got my start.

There's one certainity about the hog; he says things on-line he wouldn't dare say to someone's face.  But that's the case with almost 100% of the primitives.

In 2004 one of the media/dem chants was that Bush would be the first President since (I don`t remember who) that had a negative job record by election day.
It didn`t happen if I remember correctly but wonder if we will hear the same in 2012 should that be the case?

Yeah....I know.

I must be since you thumb suckers were screaming at how President Bush was killing the economy and we were losing jobs, even during statistical full employment.

Yeah....I know.

The 0Bumbler's economy has shed all jobs gained under President Bush.  There are fewer non governmental jobs now, than when Clinton was president.

No, the Bush Effect will still be in full swing in 2012.
