Representative Barney Frank seemed to rule out political shenanigans to get "health care reform" passed before Sen. Scott Brown can be seated. This could be a death knell for the current efforts to pass a big government healthcare plan, if he sticks to the statement.
Then what is their to do?
It is very likely we will see an effort to legalize millions and millions of illegal aliens in time for them to vote Democrat, suck up our entitlement dollars and whatnot. They can get GOP votes for amnesty, John McCain for example.
Are you ready for another bloodbath?
Are you ready to march in the streets again?
Everyone seems to think the big momentum is with the Republicans but putting amnesty up for debate this year could halt that dead in its tracks. The people of this country and Republicans especially rejected the attempt to give amnesty to millions and millions of illegal aliens when George W Bush was President.
There are probably some Democrat strategists who remember that. Even if it does not have a chance to pass it could divide the GOP and blunt their gains this November.

My understanding on Dim'Rat strategy was that Amnesty was dependent upon single-payer - with it's rats nest of exclusions/non-exclusions on illegal aliens from the "service" - passing first.
Now, assuming Teh BarackStar! leads the Dim'Rats in a bonzai charge battle of wills against the American people, he may decide to go for it anyway, before his tame legislature is torn out from under him in November.

With Massachusetts turning red for this election, I think it bodes well for conservatives in November. That being said, I think Lord Zero will do everything he can to try and ram through his big three items of his agenda: Cap & Tax, Card Check , and amnesty for illegals. Negotiations on these things will be so secretive that they will make HCR seem open and above board.

Its the amnesty thing that could be used, pass or not, to minimize their November losses by making conservatives angrier at RINO's again.

A lot of RINOs are pro amnesty, and I would bet on a repeat of last years town hall meetings if it comes up in congress.

McCain being one of them.

McCain being one of them.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't McCain say during his presidential bid that ......"I have heard the voice of the people on amnesty......."

Brown is but one Republican senator of the two, and he's the junior. John F'n Kerry is the senior Senator and he's STILL a freakin' liberal moonbat.
Then there's Bawney Fwank; Governor Deval Patrick, a confirmed moron; and the rest of the Beacon Hill crowd.
Nope, sorry, Masshole is still a blue state. Not even approaching purple.

And didn't Obama say he wouldn't raise taxes? You're not honestly going to rely on a campaign promise, are you?

I agree with this.

Who needs an official Amnesty policy? They've already figured out another way to do it:
200,000 Haitian migrants could file for Temporary Protected Status
The Obama administration is preparing to handle applications from as many as 200,000 undocumented Haitian immigrants who want to live and work legally in the United States under a new immigration program unveiled last week in the aftermath of Haiti's destructive earthquake.
The federal government will begin accepting Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applications on Thursday, according to U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services Director Alejandro Mayorkas, whose agency will process the paperwork.
