1. Dems outnumber Repubs 3-1 in MA.
2. Brown's best hope was low turnout. Thanks to all the national attention, they're expecting turnout to be at or around 70%. That's absurdly high for an off-year election.

The Republicans have certainly burrowed deep into Mass. state gov. I mean they are just creeping all over the place with that 1:3 ratio number courtesy of Pittstain in this very thread.

I don't think this will be the last time I'll be seeing DUers campaigning against Democrats. Nor will it be the last time those same DUers blame the "party leadership" for the loss.
