Fox News (Shepard Smith) Rebukes Pat Robertson on Haiti
Flipping around a bit ago and caught Shepard Smith on Fox News doing a number on Pat Robertson. He actually showed the video where Robertson describes Haiti's "deal with the devil" to be liberated from France.
Smith noted how much help is needed in Haiti, and how much this kind of stuff is not needed.
Stunning. But credit, where credit is due.

It's only a surprise to you primitives. What Robertson said was stupid.
You see, we have no problem pointing out it was a dumb thing to say. Now, if someone on your side had said the same type of thing that was equally as stupid, just like you did with Dingy Harry you'd be spinning it and defending them.
THAT'S the difference. And all your lies of claiming you wouldn't be spinning and defending will fall on deaf ears. We've witnessed you do it too many times.

Joyce Tarnow, the owner of an abortion center in Florida, where many Haitian-Americans reside, made some shocking comments to a newspaper two years ago.
Tarnow is an aggressive population control advocate who told the New Times newspaper in July 2004, "I try to get as many people sterilized as are in my way."
But, today, she is begin recalled as someone whose attitude towards the Haitian people is beyond the pale.
Tarnow told the New Times at the time that she supports population control because America "can't take all the people in the world."
"We need to help nations that can subsist and let others wither on the vine," she said.
She told the newspaper that Haiti, and third-world nations like it with high populations, "has denuded the whole land."
Her advice for the country? "Stew in your own juices."

Point being that the libs circle the wagons when one of there's says something like that. They're hypocrites.

Voodoo actually is a bastardization of Catholicism and native African theism; many people who practice voodoo also practice Catholicism. (I took a class in grad school on Latin America and the Carribbean and it's history, and we covered this topic.)

They are mostly Catholic, with a small percentage (10% or so) who are protestant, but almost 50% still practice voodoo.
