the new album is done
or maybe I should say "done" as I may make some little tweaks here and there. This is the fastest thing I have ever written (I blame being single in NYC during the winter), exactly a month to write and record, although a couple of the themes were kicking in my head for a year or two. It's about half acoustic and half weird, so I expect most people to only like half of it. But I'm ok with that.

Anyway, enjoy! It's free.
I am not clicking that link.

1. I'm not a big fan of acoustic, but I love weird.
I'll give it a listen.
Says Dr. Strange. :-)

3. cool - it may not be weird enough for you
honestly I used to be a lot weirder but have learned to temper it a bit with a simpler sensibility. But it's also hard to judge my own work, you know? I mean, to a listener of John Meyer all of my stuff will sound weird, but to a Zappa, Beefheart, or Bungle fan, it's all pretty tame. I think the weirdest one is "Erato" - the last song written for the album, and a song about how I was out of ideas, among other things. I had fun with the beat of it - it's in 4/4 but I seldom hit the same place of the beat, so it has a very meandering sound, but is not super obvious.
If this is anything like their homemade jewelry, it's probably bad. REAL bad. Yoko Ono bad.

Just before his stove exploded, TiTtyboy said he was headed back into the studio to resume his recording career. Then he got blown up, and we never heard how his album turned out. He had the second-most Grammies of all the trinket shop clerks in California.

I can't wait to see it in stores.

I recall a Yoko Ono concert to be held in OKC about fifteen to twenty years ago. She sold 2 tickets. 2. She decided not to go on with it.
I imagine that's 2 more than this dummie would sell.

Dang, now some really sick part of me wants to go listen to it. :bawl:

Oh, can't we get a courageous volunteer to give it 5 minutes, and then write a review? My speakers are on the fritz, so I can't do it. Take one for the team!

No way!!

I was almost willing but when I clicked on it the site wanted to add a bunch of stuff onto my computer. That ain't gonna happen.
