Who should I contact about an advert on DU?
There's a banner advert for the Conservative Party on DU at the moment; I would have thought that the clue was in the name as to why they might not be an appropriate group to accept adverts from...
Can anyone tell me which group of mods/admins I should contact about this, please? Is there a generic "email all the people who run the site" button somewhere that I haven't found? - I'm loth to just do it manually and waste clog up all their inboxes.
:lmao:

"loth" ?!?!?!?
Just like a typical Liberal, they must stifle and silence any opposing voices.
Of course, they COULD just go download Firefox and then add on Ad Blocker Plus......... nahh, that's too sensible :whatever:

He's a Brit of some sort. They've all been pansified and pussified so that their delicate eyes cannot bear the agony of seeing the word "conservative." It's all too much to bear so he must register complaint with the proper authorities.
If downloading Firefox is too technically daunting, he could always donate.

He certainly writes like one. Not all Brits should be tarred with that brush, remember our own Bijou for instance. Though it's certainly true that UK is several swirls closer to the bottom of the toilet vortex than us for various reasons, some few unique to it, but others held in common with us and certainly reinforced by the direction the Dems want to go.
-
All right, point taken. Also coming to mind is Daniel Hannan, and that Brit soldier guy who appears on Red Eye sometimes.

14. I love that some mouth-breathing Rush devotee helps feed the admins,
who run this incredible site on a shoestring.

At least her hair color is fitting. (blonde joke appropriately aimed)

It's possible, of course, since the innertubes are international, but lots of libtards like to pose. They are so enthralled by eurotrash communists they try to mimic them, aping their use of words like "adverts", and adding inappropriate u's to words like "honor" (though it's very unusual for the eurotrash to need the word "honor").

Even faster than an ad block, reload the page and most likely he'll get an entirely different ad. But, he's so sensitive that he cannot bear seeing the word conservative. Wuss.

Life is hell when you can be so very, very consistently outthought by a programmer's simple thesaurus algorithm.

Gobucks,
I have a very colourful neighbourhood. My favourite part is the roundabout whilst pushing my pram; though I hope we're not hit by a lorrie! Stiff upper lip and all that; must be careful near the zebra crossing.
Sorry for the sheer goofiness.

I'm pretty sure $kimmer has a response to this very question on the DUmp's Frequently Asked Questions page - somewhere below the "Who's bogarting now?" but not quite in the "When does the next welfare check come out?" area.
I think his answer went something like: "DONATE (you dipshit) and all those ads you hate so much will miraculously disappear." :thatsright:
Geez; for such an enlightened bunch, they sure do have difficulty reading at the DUmp. :evillaugh:

I remember seeing Bill O'Reilly address this situation on The O'Reilly Factor once. One of the questions that he chose to read that night was, "Why are there commercials for a rival network in CNN on your program?" His answer--"Their checks clear." He then went on to elaborate that, if one wants viewers, they have to go where the viewers are, and advertise on FNC.

I think the "loth" was supposed to mean "I am a sloth."

Probably meant to be "I am loath to..." but as written by a typical spelling-impaired passenger on DU's 'Smartest and best-informed people in the world' short bus.
