tim tebow
so am i the only person who finds tim tebow's eye-black proselytizing to be annoying as hell?

For those who don't know, Tim Tebow usually has a Bible verse number written in the black shading below his eyes when he's playing, like "John 3:16" or the like.

Most people would either admire it or be indifferent, but not the vampires of DU:

3. He's young, doesn't realize how it turns people off. But lots of young adults are like that.

15. so much for religious freedom

Only a DUmbass can create a hypothetical situation, imagine a hypothetical response to it, and then show outrage over the hypothetical response. :mental:

More insanity:

I saw that campfire earlier, but I couldn't figure out what it was all about.

Kudos to a fine football player.

Do the DUmmies think they're holding a prayer meeting during the huddle?

What clownish idiots.

:bawl: Sheesh. Don't these nitwits find any joy in life (outside of hoping for Rush's demise.)

The things that outrage the DUmmies. It's not like Tebow is going around chopping off heads of people who don't believe.

I don't remember them being scornful of hate-mongering "Christians" when the preacher was named Jeremiah Wright.

Now if we can only get them this upset at Islamic terrorism, we'd have a start at a 365-step program for them to rejoin the real world.

I love Tim Tebow because the DUmmies don't.  :-)

I think he's a fine young man.  Good looking too.

He's a standup guy...but he's not going to be a good NFL quarterback.  Sorry, but there it is.

Tebow just doesn't seem cut out for the NFL. If he plays in the NFL it will be as an option QB, like Pat White in Miami or Joshua Cribbs with the Browns.

No. They aren't capable of it.

Slim odds. But he won't be another Eric Crouch.

They don't hate him because of the eye black.

They hate him because he's not even 25 year and he's already done more to actually HELP people with mission trips etc outside of football than all of the DUmmies combined.

This what they're whining about...

EPH 2-8:10
Ephesians 2:8-10 (King James Version)

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Not of works, lest any man should boast.

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

I was ambiviant towards Tebow . . . until now.  Now, even though it's gonna be a long shot (it seems), I hope he makes it in the NFL.

Living in Florida all one hears is Tebow. It got old a long time ago. And he's a bit of a Prima Donna who'll never cut it in the NFL. Like every other Gator QB he'll disappear into obscurity.

I read yesterday his mother made a taped statement about being pro life and it's being considered for airing during the Super Bowl.

That should send them over the edge.   :lmao:
