My dog sleeps about 20 hours a day.
She has her food prepared for her.
She can eat whenever she wants, 24/7/365.
Her meals are provided at no cost to her.
She visits the Dr. once a year for her checkup, and again during the year if any medical needs arise. For this she pays nothing, and nothing is required of her. She lives in a nice neighborhood in a house that is much larger than she needs, but she is not required to do any upkeep.
If she make a mess, someone else cleans it up.
She has her choice of luxurious places to sleep.
She receives these accommodations absolutely free.
She is living like royalty, and has absolutely no expenses whatsoever. All of her costs are picked up by others who go out and earn a living every day.
I was just thinking about all this, and suddenly it hit me like a brick in the head,
Holy Smokes, my dog is a democrat
Thought you'd enjoy it.

Nah, dogs are too willing to do things like fetch and guard, it's the cats who are the real democrats (and I say that as a lover of cats).

My chickens are democrats.
All they do is strut around going, "Bar-a-a-awk!"

LOL

Democrats are like Pigs; they wallow in their own slop.

Speak for yourself. My cat once was a neglected outdoor cat, and she killed her own food daily (as well as an extra rodent for my sister's family).

This is very funny!
Only problem is my dog's an Aussie, and she'd be insulted if she were thought to be slacking at her many jobs -- herding the family, waking her boy up for school (even on weekends :-)), guarding us from any errant vehicles that may want to attack us during our walks, keeping two unblinking eyes on that cat we let live with us (how dare we?!) and never allowing him to become TOO comfortable, possible squirrel attacks, neighbors' cats, etc.
Aussies take this stuff VERY seriously!!
