The DU unrec bot - does it really exist?
It does not matter what I post, as soon as I post it there is an unrec, <0, before one can even read what was posted.
Not that I care in a general sense, I don't visit the greatest page and recs/unrecs don't have a bearing on my posts personally.
But seriously...is there an unrec bot that just kicks out an unrec based on poster name and such?
Either it exists or there are some people so petty here that they sit alone at their keyboards just waiting on someone they don't like and then pounce to unrec. I would like to think it is just a bot and not that there are people out there that sad and lonely that the only thing they have to do in life is wait to see a post by someone to unrec it.
Then again....there are people on other sites I won't name who spend a part of their life talking about posters here and going through their posts to find reasons to complain (mainly because they don't want to debate an issue so they attack people, pretty sad really and I do feel sorry for them).
Keep unrecc'ing my posts, it flatters me - but it does bother me that there are some people out there who spend their lives ranting and unreccing and posting about me and others. Really? You need some good meds and a hobby....

Nothing there, but it does seem to prove DUmmies visit here quite often. My mole hasn't been active in a few weeks. I need to get on my other computer and log in soon. Just to unrec some threads.

This DUmbass is just pissed because of his abysmal showing in the Top DUmmy competition. He got a nomination merely due to his bazillion posts, but he almost never posts anything remotely interesting or entertaining. He needs to either kick it up several notches, or hang up the keyboard, because he is bo-rrring.
Whining about unrecs is the kiss of death. Has anyone seen a top DUmmy, like bobbolink (who is homeless) or Pam (who is on chemo) ever mention unrecs?

I wasn't aware that we paid attention to DU because we were (a) looking for something to complain about, or (b) we're too afraid to debate them. As far as I can tell, most of the attention is rather unflattering because we're basically laughing our a$$es off at them and their pompous self-righteousness, and (b) we couldn't get a fair debate on DU even if we thought there was someone there worth debating, because we'd be tombstoned the minute we posted anything that deviated from the divine wisdom as revealed by, and jealously guarded by, His High Holey Profit, Skinner. (all spelling is intentional).

Pam is above that sort of thing don't ya know *sniff* and Bobbolink is homeless I hear, unrecs should be the last thing a homeless person worries about.

Pam's just above it because I heard a rumor she's on chemo. It was just a rumor though, sorta mentioned once in passing I think. :uhsure:

Wait a minute! TSS is complaining about other people and their sad and lonely lives? Isn't TSS the same DUmmie who posted profusely last year about living with his "fundie" dad, complaining about his wife, complaining about everything and blaming everyone else for his problems? Isn't TSS also the same one who was practically begging for money from the other DUmmies last year?

You know, I wish the Allentown dude primitive would come over here, for a casual chitchat about Allentown, Pennsylvania, where I lived a couple of years.
Nothing hostile; I have nothing but pleasant memories of Allentown and Allentownites.
Excepting that the newspaper, the Morning Call, sucked.

They reveal they know about here so they must know they are welcome,even cordially invited to join in civil discussion and debate yet don`t.
What does one make of such a thing?
I think it is clear after visits from some recently we are a very caring and friendly bunch when someone wants to be civilized.
Those moments are not hid or expunged out of shame.
