DU medical professionals, what if you had to treat Rush?

I know you are supposed to not even consider things outside of the fact that it is a person who needs care, but man, if you got Rush Limbaugh laying there it would have to be a very tough thing to look past.

Further down the thread MP pretends to clarify his question as asking about their feelings of having to treat Limbaugh, instead of whether they would treat him at all, or harm him.

4. conflicted...

really conflicted.

I guess I'd do what I could...

I would just remind all of the line (paraphrased) from the film Serpico: "It isn't that we'll do anything to you, but we might not be there when you need us most."

If you ever have the misfortune of being under PCIntern's care, just remember to keep your mouth shut. Not because your politics might get you less than adequate care. But because your fillings might be worth a few bucks. (http://www.conservativecave.com/index.php/topic,38095.msg409905/highlight,pcintern.html#msg409905)

6. I'd do it. The man is not worth throwing away my career or my ethics.

I'd give him the best care I could and keep my mouth shut about it so I could keep my job. Not as much out of any compassion for him, but I've trained for this career so I could help others and he's not worth giving that up.

A bit better. But purely out of self-preservation than compassionate health care worker.

Doctor looks down at Rush lying on the table needing medical attention.....and says, "DAMN....FINALLY! .....A cash paying customer".

OK, Lurkers.  What if a decent civillized doctor who happens to be conservative, looks down at you and can tell by your Cheeto-stained fingers and other body parts, your Che T-shirt, and other giveaways, that you are a worthless parasite moonbat.  What should he do?  Well, I suppose if he were union, it would be time for a coffee break.

Under Obamacare he would say, "Patient appears to be over 65...or used up...so no further medical assistance is allowed."

That reminds me of a tired old joke.  The punchline was "Democrats are easy.  They're gutless, heartless, brainless, spineless, and their heads and asses are interchangeable. ”

There!  It's a new punchline for the New Year.  Do tell the joke--it's now updated!
