Title: Hero versus Zero
Post by: Oceander on December 30, 2009, 03:22:56 PM
Maybe next time, we can elect an anonymous dutch tourist as President?  Jasper Schuringa certainly seems to have done a lot more to protect Americans than that effing bastard Barack Obama has ever done:

Jasper Schuringa for President, 2012!

Ok, so I decided to make it a little less obscure, and make the point a little sharper, by adding captions:

Sometimes; being unemployed will do that to you - particularly when a certain political party is doing its damnedest to make sure you stay that way.

I hear you on this!  Not unemployed but UNDER employed over here in California...and I'm not seeing any light at the end of this tunnel. :thatsright:  Sucks.  On the bright side, it gives us more time here in the Cave. :cheersmate:

Indeed.  And I've gotten quite a bit better on my GIMP skills (GIMP being the free, open-source alternative to Photoshop; not quite as good technically, but when you factor in the price, worth its weight in gold!).  Who knows, if this continues much longer, perhaps I'll have a new career as a graphic designer instead of as a tax attorney?

You do quite well with your graphics here - so maybe you've just found your new "calling".

Forgot to add my little comment on your pic. below.  BO looks so happy, and boy, doesn't his teeth look white! :loser:

How's this for a quickie?:

The lighting isn't quite right (that's one of the most devilish parts to get correct), but I think the head is about the right scale (maybe still just a smidge too big :( )and is in a natural-enough looking position.  Comments anyone?

The head looks just a bit big also, or maybe that is the lighting.

Try this revision (on the right-hand side as you look at the screen):

That's about the highest position he should have ever risen to, NOT POTUS!!! I wouldn't even trust him as a fry cook at McDonald's!!

Indeed.  I see him as having no more skills than those necessary to be a squeegie man outside the Holland Tunnel:
