If you like Newt, you will love this video. I have always believed Newt makes more sense with fewer words than any speaker I have ever heard. I would love to have Newt as president instead of what we have. Unfortunately, I also believe Newt carries too much baggage to ever be elected president. It doesn't mean he isn't eminently qualified, it simply means he is a walking, talking bulls eye for the liberals. I want a conservative republican elected in the next presidential election and I don't think Newt is electable. Maybe if the media stays fixated on Sarah Palin, Newt can stay under the radar and be elected.
Enjoy!

Newt pretty much jumped the shark when he endorsed Scozzafava.

He talks a good game but when it gets down to actually doing something, he's full of shit.
Sorry, the guys got no credibility with me anymore.

I agree! I believe he was simply doing what he felt was right by supporting the party's choice. It really was a big boo boo though.

Which is one reason I don't like parties... They don't do the right thing, they just tow a line. Newt lost any credibility he had left with that move.

Considering his most recent behavior, I wouldn't cross the street to piss on either him or Obama if they were on fire much less cast a vote for them.

I hate party labels. They tend to assume the right to express and enforce my beliefs. Unfortunately, party labels is what we have. Since I know my choice of candidates will never be elected outside of a current party label, I find it necessary to attempt to influence the republican label to represent my beliefs in order to get my future preferred candidates elected.

I don't give a toot about Newt but I did hear several clips from that speech and it was pretty moving.

He has a long track record of grossly overplaying his hand and creating wreckage out of potential. He has a lot of good mileage left as a consultant, but considering his record only an idiot would actually let him make any final decisions.
