I wonder how the healthcare 'reform' is going top affect medical assistance and those who get psych care through it? How will hcr affect our meds, therapy and such.I know I could not afford to pay for insurance on SSI. And I know I need the help I get.
Anyone know anything about this yet?
Well, remember that during the presidential campaign, Shelley-0 promised us that, under an 0-administration, "everybody's going to have to work."
I suspect that's coming around the corner right now.

1. I'm thankful I get free coverage from the state of Minnesota.
Meds, Psych, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is all paid for by state medical assistance.

2. Mine is covered too
But I wonder does anything in the HCR bill interefere with medical assistance covering therapy and whatnot?

3. I was hoping Ladyhawk would finally be able to get some care.
No idea here. But wasn't there a Mental Health Parity Act that passed in 2007 or so? You'd think that would mean something.
Which reminds me--anyone seen the squawking primitive lately?

It might be free for you dumpmonkey... however for the productive citizens of Minnesota it ain't free. Not only are they paying for their own health care they are paying for yours too. Maybe you should thank the next person you see that has a job.

Bragging and happy about being insane and getting treatment on someone elses dime.

He's certainly sane enough to con the system, though. :banghead:

Actually didn't Michelle say "You will be required to work" ? It just sounded a little more sinister, a little more gulag-ish.
I can't figure Minnesota out. I've enjoyed several visits there on business. On the one hand you have God-fearing decent hard-working people, the salt of the earth, the nicest people I have ever met. On the other hand you have a bunch of moonbats. And, they elect the wackiest people. What gives?

Ironic that those mean, rich corporate overlords pay for its SSI and medical care, meeting its physical and mental (well as much as that's even possible) needs, yet there's not an ounce of gratitude. We're such a mean country we even pay for the existence and lifestyle of the completely useless.

Want to see these mental cases up close and personal? Just watch "Speeders Fight Back" on True TV!
One guy brought a weeks worth of groceries in to tell the judge if she fined him, he wouldn't be able to afford to buy it!
Another said she was a single mother, (big surprise, I know), and was thinking about her kids and was not paying attention to the fact she was going 86 in a 65!
Both of these morans decided they could break the law because it would be a burden on them to pay for breaking the law. (shakes head)

I've got some more bad news for the HeShePersonCat. Since the dims took control and destroyed the economy my income has dropped drastically. As it stands now, even with a tax increase, the taxes that I pay in this year will probably be half of what I payed in last year. That's half the money at the government's disposal to pass out to parasites. I'm sure that I'm not the only one in this position.
To put it in other words, I and other working folks are the money trees for the parasites too lazy to work. When you hurt our income you are also hurting your income. Your politicians are sending me to the poor house. Which means your politicians are sending you to the poor house.
You would think the website with the self-proclaimed smartest people in the universe could see this.

Note to the apologists of this shit bill: Health Insurance is NOT Health Care.
As long as these EVIL companies can gouge us with insane deductibles and co-pays that other BS that makes sure that we don't actually get covered while being forced to pay these ****ers anyway there will be no real reform in this country. This whole bill is a sham to make us pay these companies while being screwed with shit coverage.
The For-Profit health insurance industry needs to be destroyed. These monsters do not care about healthcare, they care about maximizing profits, and that's ALL they are allowed by law to care about. Healthcare should never be for profit, it should be a public service available to all.

9. The health insurance industry IS the problem.
You have to kill the infection, not just relieve it's symptoms.

32. Single Payer, like in that civilized country Canada.
Why not tell the dear folks there that you already have milked the system?
Maybe wouldn`t get you back slapped to stardom?

Can't we just tell the really crazies they are being treated?

UGP will be OK for a while as soon as she/it gets her new Christmas flea collar on.
-
If we do a TV show about DUmmies, how the heck would we depict a UGP type character? heh

I dislike getting off topic, sir, but it's the warped primitive, the #09 TOP PRIMITIVE OF 2009, who actually does wear flea collars. The warped primitive admitted it; it's in her thread here.

If there is ever a TV show, the UGP-type character can do short "Deep Thoughts" kind of skits, heh.

If only Star Trek were still on she could fill in for this one.
Or perhaps if they bring back Babylon 5 she could make a go of it there.
Then again she could do an appearance on Monster Quest.

ST: Voyager actually. His name was Neelix.
We'll stick with a very short cameo in the middle of the show.. "Now for Deep Thoughts w/ Underground Kitty".... lol

In the same boat here, although in my case, the taxes are likely to drop below half of what I paid last year.
