Title: WA State SI wants to reduce HS graduating requirements

un fawking believable... People aren't doing well, so lower the Reading, Writing, Arithmetic standards...  :rotf: :rotf:

They have been discussing this on Fox this morning.

Apparently Bill Gates is not happy about lowering the standards....he was quoted as saying he has to go overseas now, as it is, to get qualified employees, because he can't find them in WA....

Hmmmmm.....isn't Gates a liberal?

He's relatively liberal, I would say. He's against the flat tax. But he's very fiscally intelligent - he knows what it's going to take to compete in this and the future economy, and that's not dumbed down HS students.

If they're lower than your standards, lower your standards.

So basically, he's turned his dating advice into education policy.
