 Source: KTUL NewsChannel 8 (Tulsa)

NewsChannel 8 has learned that evangelist Oral Roberts has died.

Roberts died Tuesday, a day after he was hospitalized following a fall at his California home. He was 91 years old.

"Oral Roberts was the greatest man of God I've ever known," said Oral's son, Richard Roberts. “A modern-day apostle of the healing ministry, an author, educator, evangelist, prophet, and innovator, he was the only man of his generation to build a worldwide ministry, an accredited university, and a medical school."

It seems Mr. Roberts was the childhood "ogre" to one particular primitive.

early 60's. His last name was also Roberts - they were not related. He loathed Oral. Oral hated when kids in the neighborhood would play near his house My G-U got lots of pleasure organizing the neighborhood kid to play football, baseball, what ever in front of "that sleazy sob's house". O I have a memories of a couple of times when Oral came out to yell at usand my great Uncle yelling very unchristian and impolite things back at him.

They just can't help themselves, can they? Absolute hatred for anyone who reminds them of their own iniquities.

Exactly. Hate is what they are made of.
+10 points for use of the word "iniquities."

A quick look on wikipedia tells me that from 1947-1963 Roberts was a traveling evangelist who married in 1938 and had 4 children. The chances of him being at home for long and being the neighborhood grouch who hated children seem to be slim to non existent.

Liberal lie, not just DUmmies, all the time.

Tolerance?  HA!

Good will toward others?  HA!

Looking out for the other guy?  HA!

Free speech? HA?

It is all a lie. A sweet lie, but proven to be a lie.

I expected nothing else.

I was never a fan of Oral Roberts, but it strikes me that Oral Roberts was of a higher caliber of character than the primitives all put together.
