A bust of a sex trafficking ring in Brooklyn led to a ghastly find - an enslaved hooker's baby entombed in concrete.
Feds and cops raided a Sunset Park flophouse late Tuesday and arrested the brothel's ringleaders and found a 10-gallon Rubbermaid container filled with cement.
X-rays revealed the body of a two-month-old boy sealed inside, officials said.
Domingo Salazar, 33, and Norma Mendez, 32, appeared in Brooklyn Federal Court last night on sex trafficking charges and could face additional counts, law enforcement sources said.
The couple, illegal immigrants from Mexico, forced a young woman into prostitution, viciously abused her and barred her from getting medical care for the infant when he fell ill last January, investigators said.
When the baby died, Salazar and Mendez allegedly forced the mom to dispose of the body in the container, which sat in the 40th St. apartment until yesterday. ...

No; the little guy endured all he had to in order to ensure his place by his savior's side, and was then taken home to the Heavenly Father who was loathe to let such a child leave his side in the first place.
The other half of that equation is that, in knowing the true natures of every one of his children, Father in Heaven has to allow some truely horrendous things to happen in order for the judgements and punishments he has in store for them to be truly justified. I get the feeling that the folks that perpetrated the attrocities upon this child cannot possibly repent for the crimes they embraced in their wasted little lives, and have "interesting" times in hell in store for them when they arrive.
Looking at it from either side of the coin, it is best to 'be still and know that [He] is God.'

Thanks for that perspective, I needed it.

I believe that.

Unfortunately, I don't.
I hope they find a way to make those responsible suffer. That was horrible.

how horrible....hope they rot in prison, or better yet...send in the firing squad.

This is one of those situations where I have to wonder if it hadn't been better if this child had been aborted.
I don't want to start a firestorm on abortion as a result of this topic. But no one can convince me that this child could have endured near as much pain being aborted, than it did once it was born.

Abortion is not the problem here... it's immigration. Every case of human trafficking and slavery I've seen in the United States (especially in Tennessee) has been a direct result of immigration over our southern border. If the federal government would get off their asses and start prosecuting these criminals under every law available, this tragedy could have been prevented.
If that mother had wanted an abortion, she could have gotten one.

It isn't anything but some sort of mental derangement that people can commit horrendous acts on anyone....but particularly harmless children.
I doubt if the mother was "enslaved" that abortion was an option for the mother. The monsters who were holding her probably had "plans" for the child too, that would have made them money.
Not every case of human trafficking is the result of Mexicans. The middle easterners do it, and so do those from the former USSR and far eastern Europe. Mexicans just happen to be more in the news lately, because of all the publicity regarding kidnapping and human trafficking the last 12 months or so regarding drug gangs from Mexico....
