24. We've known for like 25 years at least we have to stop burning fossil fuels. . .
Those who control our natural resources will delay until we're all gone and the planet
is reeling --
We have to get electric cars on the road and face up to the rest of it all -- !!

From a thread about Global warming I mean climate change and how the talks in Copenhagen will save the world.
This dummy actually makes the claim that burning fossil fuels is bad and says we need electric cars. Just where does this moron think we get the electricity to charge those cars? That's right dumbass we burn coal to do so. And coal puts out the evil CO2 that you moonbats swear will kill us all. It's like using chewing tobacco to quit smoking. You just trade one bad habit for another.

No. Electricity comes from the electric lines. I've seen evil gasoline, and smoking cars. Electric lines just sit there and pour out as much electricity as you need.

Another entry, this from a thread where they are talking about his speech to get the Nobel.

7. Obama doesn't speak in bumper sticker simplicity.
And that seems to be the main problem.

That is all Obama does is speak in bumper sticker slogans. Hope and change, choice and competition, bush is the devil, and on and on.

Exactly. We do not need all those polluting electric plants burning coal or oil. They could be replaced by ginormous warehouses full of big-ass batteries, all hooked together and feeding a big wire that would go out and be split into smaller wires that would come into your house and connect up with the electric socket on the wall. Then we could all recharge our Priuses by connecting to all those big-ass batteries, and shut down the coal mines and oil wells. And stuff. And polar bears could still walk on the ice and stuff and the islanders in the Pacific would all have dry ground.

We can all wear propeller-beanie wind generation hats, and run in circles like... well... like DUmmies.

LOL it's defendandprotect ....
I wonder why they're peeking their little ratty eyes outta the 9/11 forum.

Or just another day at the DUmp.

I just went over and read through the thread and there is a whole lot of stupid there.
Hyperbole and overwrought "we are destroying the planet" nonsense.
All screams yet no real discussion of proposals or the ramifications of them.
Typical of libs..belief trumps all.

Neighbor, if they were truly serious about "saving the planet," they would lead by example and commit suicide. Thus, their total carbon footprint would be lessened, as well as their noxious CO2 production would be eliminated.

Ouch. That's pretty harsh. :-)

But entirely appropriate. :fuelfire:

MTBE or was it MTBE? Thats what we need. Lets mandate that in gasoline and then we can pollute the air AND the water again.
oops.
Maybe we shouldn't be doing things like that.
Ever notice that none of the nutjobs live like they want us to live? except maybe bobolink?

Methyl Tert-Butyl Ether. One of the things I used to look for when I worked in the lab. It's very water-soluable. When the EPA mandated its use in gasoline, it started showing up in all sorts of water samples I ran.
