Hello Ladies and Gentlemen,

Long time lurker, originally lurking from CU to here. My name is i_b_perky. I like to read the posts here and especially enjoy the slap downs on the dumpmonkeys.

I finally decided to actually join although I will probably not post much. I enjoyed Franksolich's posts at CU and finally found where he went so that is how I ended up here.

I like to read. Sci fi, mystery, action, crime, politics, war, history... you name it, I read it. My hobbies are mostly reading, cooking and watching the West Virginia Mountaineer football and basketball teams.

Geesh o'Pete....I make it all summer! Makes the other half a happy camper....

Now that it's winter....I'm making either cherry or apple crisp. A big baking dish of cherry is currently on the stove top now.... :-)

I love fresh peaches, but when it comes to cobbler I'm a berry person.  Do they serve it at Cracker Barrel or can I come to your house?

You can come to my house, darlin'....other half says my peach cobbler is better than his grandmother's was.

Course he could just be sucking up so that I continue to make it.... :uhsure:
