OMG. There are so many jokes and snarky remarks that can be made about this that it makes me dizzy.


Obama Snubs Kids Event In Oslo, Cardboard Cutout Put In His Place

Nobel Peace Prize winner Barack Obama skipped a "Save the Children" benefit concert in Oslo, Norway, Thursday, and a cardboard cutout of the American president was placed on stage in his absence.

In Oslo to receive an award that most people believe he didn't deserve, Obama claimed, "I still have a lot of work to do back in Washington, D.C., before the year is done."

According to the Associated Press, Obama also skipped lunch with the King of Norway.

The only reason they noticed it wasn't really him was it didn't bash America and praise itself.

I took a look at that up-close pic of the cardboard cutout:

and it gets even worse, because that cutout looks exactly like the "life-size" cardboard cutout of Obama (http://www.hollywoodstandups.com/product_info.php?products_id=884) you can buy from Hollywood Standups for $32.95:

I guess that's what Obama figures a bunch of Norwegian kids are worth - US$32.95 (plus applicable sales tax, of course ;)  ).
