20. Forgive my ignorance

Is the label intended to refer to the President as not legitimately african american but somehow "white on the inside"?

If so... not only is is offensive, but I don't get how it even applies.

Obama has flim-flammed all those who thought he would bring "change" ......

He's a minstrel, an oreo, a happy face for fascism that caters to the same power structure that the Bush Crime Family represents.

Obama just does it smoother. He can pick your pocket and you end up thanking him.

This is mild compared with the crap they reveled in saying about Condi, Colin Powell and Michael Steele.

It would be interesting to do a search on the word "oreo" over there.

I seem to remember Michael Steele having oreos thrown him, surely DU had something to say about that at the time.

Well, let's see here...about 95+ percent of African-Americans voted for Obama.  A common slur in the black community is to call someone an Oreo, much like those in the Hispanic community call those who try to mainstream themselves "coconuts".

Funny, I've yet to hear those terms uttered in conservative circles.
