Title: Massachusetts Polling Ghost Town
Post by: miskie on December 08, 2009, 06:40:27 PM
Earlier today I went to my local polling place to play connect the arrow for Jack E. Robinson, one of two Republicans making a play for Dead Ted's seat - The polling place consisted of two wards, six workers per ward, and one police officer.. Oh, and me.

I was the only person voting there at that time ( About 3:30 in the afternoon ) - I have never seen so much disinterest in a primary, ever. And although today was chilly, the sky was bright blue and sunny.

However, the fun is just beginning -

Joe Kennedy - the Libertarian - has managed to get onto the general election ballot AND as the first candidate listed no less. The question is, how much damage will he do to stupid Democrat voters who will knee-jerk vote based on his name ? And as a second thought , what's the Over/under on Joe being found face down in the Charles, courtesy of the SEIU ?

Looks like it's going to be Coakley and Brown in the runoff.
