Things are getting hot and heavy in Copenhagen ahead of the city's massive climate change conference.
The city's mayor warned hotels against patronizing Danish prostitutes during the upcoming U.N. summit — but the Copenhagen hookers are reportedly striking back by offering free sex to anyone who ignores the warnings.
Mayor Ritt Bjerregaard sent postcards to 160 Copenhagen hotels, urging guests and delegates to refrain from buying sex, Spiegel Online reported.
The city's prostitutes have retaliated by offering free sex to anyone who brings one of the cards to an assignation.
The response is being organized by the Sex Workers Interest Group (SIO), which says the mayor's move is "sheer discrimination."
"Ritt Bjerregaard is abusing her position as Lord Mayor in using her power to prevent us carrying out our perfectly legal job," SIO Spokeswoman Susanne Moller told the Danish Web site Avisen.dk. "I don't understand how she can be allowed to contact people in this way," .

Give me a break you men, if the local bank offered free BJ's to new customers they would be lined up around the block.

Back to subject, without the working girls where does all all that sexual energy go for a man. What does a man have to get release.?
Rape, or other anti-social behavior.? We humans need food . clothing and shelter and sex.
People will forgo the food, shelter and what not for sex. This is the strongest impulse we have just because we denied it, it is there.
Those working girls are keeping down the sex crimes, and supplying a needed service.
Grow up Men why not acknowledge that they are supplying a service, like anyone else selling their body--they sing, dance, learn to use their hands to become surgeons and their brains to lead others. The only body part of a female that is off limits is her WHOO-WHO.
OK so for an old broad I am odd, but there would be no prostitutes if there was not a huge demand for them.
It is men that make the demand, if all men were chaste the profession would die out.
