The best thing that could happen for Obama and the moonbats is for the GOP to take both houses in 2010.
Now before you call me crazy let me explain.
If Obama is faced with an opposition party in control he can blame them in 2012 for his not performing miracles and saving us all.
He can claim that despite his best efforts the evil Gopers stopped him in his tracks. The DUmmies and other moonbats also will not focus on his failures but, blame the GOP and fully support him in 2012.
Now if the Dems keep both houses then Obama is bound to lose his base and find himself on the unemployment line.
So if we take the house and senate in 2012, it may be a mixed blessing. Instead of Obama being the second coming of Jimmy Carter, he can be the second coming of Bill Clinton.

That is something to think about, as a blade cuts both ways.
However, I'd still just as soon Republicans considerably expand their numbers in Congress in 2010.

I would too. As bad as Lord O having a second term could be it will be a lot less painful if we have a second Newt revolution. After all the GOP kept Clinton from socializing the USA totally.

Me too. I don't like the idea of unrestrained socialists controlling both congress and the WH any longer than necessary.

I'd prefer that independents in the Constitution and the Libertarian parties kick them both out. I'm tired of Democrat-lite.

Like DAT, I am willing to risk it. Heck, I think it would be a good thing.
The other side of that is, Bill was not quite as vain or as stupid as the 0ne is. Bill got a spanking, he learned his lesson, and both sides moved on.
I think the big lesson learned is that the Republicans aren't going to go with a has-been never was like Bob Dole again. I think the Republicans are forever cured of the sickness that gives us Dole/McCain type candidates. At least, I hope so.

Don't get me wrong ya'll I would rather have the GOP take control I just believe it can be a mixed blessing.
-
I don't want a repeat of 1979-1980.
At least the 0ne seems uxorious, or Michelle has him on a very short leash. Anyway, I will be glad to be spared a repetion of Monica.

If it keeps the big eared jackoff from destroying this country it could be run by tribbles for all I care.

I agree, Freeper. The four years (2003-04-05-06) the R's held both houses and the WH are the exception to the rule for a few decades now. Clinton had 2 years and people revolted. Should the same thing happen it would at least reign in Dear Leader's kooky agenda.

The big difference in the Clenis and the Obamessiah is that the Clenis was smart enough to move to the middle and govern from there, and triangulate some Republican positions as his own. The Obamessiah is too arrogant for that. He will still think that he has the majority of the American people behind him. And he does, if one factors out the 300 million+ people that aren't registered at the DUmp or at Kos or at Stormfront.
The probelm with that is that there are 300 million+ more people in the US, a good chunk of who don't like the Obamessiah's policies--and won't when he has to deal with a Republican House (and possibly Senate) in 2011. His numbers will sink into the 30s and then into the 20s. I saw where some DUmb**** was saying that there'll be a landslide in 2012. There will be--just not to the Obamessiah's, and by extension the DUmb****s', liking.
