The customer said, "What are you looking at, n_ _ _ _r?"
Edited on Mon Nov-30-09 09:28 PM by Kat45

He said that to a busboy who was bussing a table a bit of a distance away from where he was sitting with his family. Then he said something to the effect of "Don't look at my wife, n_ _ _ _r!" After being retrieved by another employee, a manager came out to see the customer and busboy standing nose to nose. The angry employee had responded to the customer by yelling, "I'm not afraid. If you want to fight, I'll fight" (or words to that effect). Trying to diffuse the situation, the manager quickly got between them and repeated to his employee, "It's not worth it. It's not worth it." Then a large waitress came running over, yelling "It's ok. I've got it," as she inserted herself between the two players to help keep them apart.

This happened in a large chain restaurant...last weekend. Now, I'm not someone who denies the existence of racism, but I did not think people manifested it so blatantly, and publicly, in this day and age. The man did this in a busy restaurant, in front of customers, employees--and his own family. (Though I can't speak for his family, everyone else in the place was shocked and appalled.) BTW, this happened in Massachusetts.

42. WTF? A piece of shit customer gets in a busboy's face and throws racial epitaphs at him
and they're worried about the busboy getting fired? NO ONE should EVER have to put up with that kind of shit! And as if the incident with the racist wasn't bad enough to suck up to the ****ing racist instead of kicking his ass out? Are you ****ing kidding me? They should be backing the employee not being overly solicitous to that racist piece of shit.

I guess that racist POS really learned his lesson.

What's the name of this place so I can make sure I NEVER set foot in there.

Now vadawg speaks some truth but the DUmmies won't believe it.

45. I'm sure you don't know shit about hip hop culture other than what the MSM has told you
and the MSM doesn't know shit either. And if the dude took the time to get in the customer's face it's bloody obvious that the busboy wasn't down with the asshole who called him a ******.

Would you like to do some more pretzel like bending to try to make this sound like anything other than the racist incident that it is?

When I went into the Army I was amazed at how the black guys called each other ******.  Blew me away.  When I drove a school bus the kids did the same thing.  I wouldn't let them do it on my bus.  I told them if they could call each other that so could I.....that ended that.

Now we get a little more truth ....

110. Actually, the OP wasn't even there, according to the OP in one of
his posts here. The manager who relayed the story to the OP just maybe embellished it a bit.

It's a big huge thread and pretty funny stuff.

Throwing words on a tombstone at the busboy will get you nowhere.  :loser:

The DUmp is the only pol board I've ever witnessed that finds excuses to openly use racial epithets and other slurs under the guise of relaying a story.  I believe they either look for reasons or make them up just so they can.

When I was teaching in the inner-city, my kids used that word all the time-and I cringed every time they did. Finally I told them that to me, that was the worst, nastiest racial epithet that could be thrown around, and I'd appreciate it if they didn't use it. It led to a discussion about why it's okay for black kids to use it but not white kids, and how they would jokingly call me 'my n*gga' because they liked me but I would have never, ever used that term to describe one of them no matter how much I loved them (which I did.) It was a very interesting and eye-opening experience for all of us.

That being said...I have never, ever heard a white person address anyone with that word. I don't know any white person who would use that word.

Uh.  I saw my cousin use it.  He is a General Contractor, and he calls his best friend who is his main worker one.  Regularly.  No lie.

It maybe commonplace in a socially racist place like Massachusetts, but here in Texas I haven't seen a black person busing a table since about 1976, and she owned the restaurant.

It isn't restricted to Texas, either. Our bus-children here in Colorado are much "lighter" than the DUmbass would seem to be suggesting.  They don't speak Ebonics, either.

CM, that also presumes that the DUmbass was reporting a real occurance in the first place.  As Rush has been saying for the past week or so, DimRats (DUmbasses) are firmly ensconced in the universe of the lie, not the real world which we mundanes inhabit.

No habla ingles.

Not related to the OP, but this reminds me of a story my uncle told the other day. We had just gotten pulled over for not wearing seatbelts. He said that his last time getting pulled over he had a couple of other guys in the car with him. One was a Mexican. Both of the other guys were drinking beer. The cop asked them all out of the car. Then asked if they had been drinking. The Mexican replied with "no hablo ingles." The cop asked twice more and got the same reply. Finally the cop told him, "I'll ask you one more time and if you don't hablo some ingles I'm going to take you ass to jail. Now, have you been drinking?" The Mexican replied, "yes sir, but just a little bit."

Now, back to the OP...
I'm not sure who is more stupid. Is it the one who created the lame bouncy? Or is it the one who believes it?

51. All of the OTHER customers should have left

If I was at another table, I would make very clear to the management that the offending customer is to be deemed a trespasser, or I am leaving without paying.
And I would encourage others to do so.

That would put the management in something of a bind then, yes?

In most states, an innkeeper can eject a guest for any reason or no reason (so long as it is not an impermissible reason).

Yes, if management doesn't see things YOUR way because you obviously knew what was going on better than they .... well, then you have good enough reason to walk on our bill.

Idiots.

There's a context there, it's not like he went up to some random black guy and started calling him that.

But really, I don't think I have ever heard a white person use that term in the racially-charged sense that the OP meant. IF this happened (that's a mighty big if) I would definitely have a problem with it.

Sorry, while we in NH are blessed with very, very, very few of those posessing darker hues, I've yet to hear anyone speak in a derogatory fashion towards a person of color.

Massachusetts, OTOH, is another story entirely.  Can't imagine why--after all, Dorchester is such a lovely little burb...

Of course the whole story is a very lame bouncy lie. Ever since the jug-eared muslim won the democrat nomination, lots of the DUmmies have been obsessed with finding ways to use that word. It has been in the forefront of their little pea brains since that time, and keeps oozing out in silly bouncy lies.

No way the customer used that word, unless he was black, since they use it incessantly. Notice that the racist DUmmies assumed the fictional customer was white, since they cannot imagine a black person spending money in a restaurant.

Instead of that word, the customer probably used "Willis".
