Anyone setting one up this year?

Anyone setting one up this year?
I created a Yahoo one last week. I'll post the details after the bowls are announced next Sunday night.

Thanks. :cheersmate:

I'm a little hesitant to give out the sign-up information, for two reasons.
1 - There is one bowl that is yet to be determined...the EagleBank Bowl selections are contingent on the Army/Navy outcome Saturday.
2 - The Yahoo league (as in the past) can only be set up one way - by using "confidence points". In other words, you not only have to pick the winner, but assign a point value from 34 to 1 for each one. It's not hard to do, but last year a lot of people failed to realize the confidence value aspect.
I could set this up at ESPN or CBS Sportsline instead.
I'm just trying to make this easy for pretty much anyone to play. Opinions?

I do recall that some didn't use the confidence option. I would hope there's a learning curve and get it right this year. I thought that that was part of the challenge.

I vote for yahoo.

I'll be a little more explicit in my explanation this year. The confidence aspect automatically defaults with the BCS championship being worth 34 points, and on down chronologically through the bowls. So if you didn't bother to notice the confidence values, it just assigned them like that.
Posting the sign-up details shortly, and we'll stick with Yahoo.

In addition to picking the winner of each game, you should rank the games in order of your "confidence" in the winner of that game. The complete rules are available at the site.
Good luck, suckers. :evillaugh:

A quick recap of the rules...hopefully we can get a lot more of those casual fans to sign up....
Yahoo! Sports College Bowl Pick'em is a free fantasy sports game allowing you to compete against others to see who can select the winners of the 34 college football bowl games.
Playing is easy — just choose the team you think will win each game and assign a unique confidence value, from 1 to 34, for each pick. Maximize your points by assigning the highest confidence values to your most confident picks. With each correct choice, you earn the confidence points you attributed to that pick.
The deadline to make or change your picks is five minutes before each game is scheduled to begin.

Actually I leap frogged you in the Iowa game. Iowa kicked booty in the 1st half. I was the only one who picked Iowa. I live in a Big 10 state. They're on my TV every weekend. I thought they were going to go undefeated.
After we all picked Central Mich., I couldn't lose. Last game was meaningless.

Good picks, Tucker.
