Yes, my first thought was UGP locked alone in her/his/it's apartment with only the dead body of her/his/it's dead boyfriend laying on the floor. Because UGP had her/his/it's thumb removed in an attempt to be more 'cat' like, he/she/it was trapped...and forced to eat her/his/it's dead boyfriend...

looks like the robot will scavenge fuel,rip up plants eating,trees,etc..that's all we need,tree eating robots.And the choice of words bio mass,it means biological stuff.I think with the research being done on fuels that come from dead bodies,it leaves that ugly door open.

As for the geneva rule about desecration of war dead?? Is it desecration to remove them? In war dead of enemies do get desecrated. What if there was no dead bodies for reporters to see to reporta massacre, war crimes or anything else? Does anyone remember Jenin? Israel kept observers and reporters out as they destroyed the town.

 Seems that unless it can tell the ifference between a dead person and an unconcious or immobile one, then that would suck up anything ioncluding babies, puppies or old and disable people.

UP could keep one running for a month all by its immenseness although the poor thing would be so effed up after it would have to be taken out of service to humanity.

A worthwhile sacrifice I would say.

Works for me, 'specially if UP turns out to be one of the dead cats. Just sayin'.....we got to be energy independent somehow.

If robots eat dead anything, are they potty trained also.?

Depending on safety measures a few of them robots may solve one of our greatest problems of the day, Garbage dumps.
