I have heard of people flying human-powered aircraft. Is there such thing as...human-powered farm machinery? Even prototypes would be interesting, so don't restrict yourself to what is commercially available when you post a reply.
Well, duh.

Unless its a tool that's designed to be strapped to an animal, there are versions that come in entir...Why the hell am I even typing this ? How stupid does a primitive need to be to even ask this question in the first place ?

I've seen this one around. He's always asking stupid questions. He's either sincere and dumb as a rock, or he just enjoys stupid questions.

No, until mechanized farm equipment came on the scene, people sat and starved eating only the food that naturally grew around them.

Well, since they're basically parasites, and typically live by stealing (or, as they say, "redistributing") the goods that others produce, it shouldn't be at all surprising that he has absolutely no idea of how to do even basic gardening.

Does this DUmmy actually plan on strapping himself to a field hoe and dragging it around? I doubt it. Waste of time.

Only comes to mind think of right off the bat is the method of grinding grain used by either people power or a cow walking around in a circle pushing against a pole that caused the grinding stove to revolve and create some king of flour.
One would think that an old bicycle peddle and gears could be hooked up to a butter churn just peddle away and move the plunger up and down.
The spinning wheel and weaving loom are people powered, as is the old water pump that must be primed.
Look to the past, a plain 2x4 to use as a leaver and a hook and pulley system cleared out fields with rocks and downed trees.
Farming machinery covers a broad spectrum of things. Different needs for different farming.
How did people sheer sheep before the hand held giant scissors later the electric clippers were invented, where did the crazy idea of placing metal shoes on the feet of horses come from.?
None so blind as that that look and do not see.
Fixate on just one problem in any field, focus on making just on thing work better. Take everything into account, even the so called impossible, some one had to invent an apple corer, the idea of mustard packs to releave a fever.
Good Luck, you may become the first person in human history to see something no one else Had ever seen and like the Cotton Gins inventor Whitney, go down in history.
