At least it is if you're traveling. I'm not.
Jammed 20 minutes of work into 3 hours so far. I'll be very surprised if 1 PM comes and we're not at the "Yellow Conference Center" (aka, the bar outside the plant gate) having a cold one.
Schedule for outage firming up. 6-10's (maybe 12's.) I'm on nights this time, Wednesdays off. I'll put it at 50/50 as to whether or not I work X-Mas.

I hope you get some Holiday time.
I have a short day today, the office is closing at 3, but I think I'll try to go in early so that I can leave even earlier :evillaugh:
One of my best friends ever is flying in from Texas for Thanksgiving, so we'll be hanging out tonight!

I get to work today through Saturday and a whopping 14 hours on Thanksgiving and another 5 on Black Friday yea me

This weekend will be pretty quiet, at least.

At work, not working. No one is. We are just here in face only. Our deadline was yesterday, and now all info is in an info dump to download. Hopefully we get out by 2:30 or maybe earlier.
I just ordered a personalized autographed biography of Chuck Yeager for my boyfriend. Hope it gets here and he likes it.

Feeling a tad under the weather, and still have a semi-sick kid. No traveling for me this year, so I'm just hanging around the house. All the kids are home and are driving me nuts in different ways.
I penciled in a nap for later this afternoon.

I have a two day work week, only Saturday and Sunday this week. It should be nice and quiet, as most of our customers will be shut down for the weekend.

Ouch, LL. That hurts!
Normal workday today, though the plant is running only two lines. Mrs E is off today, cleaning the house and making her "must haves" for tomorrow's gastronomic indulgences.
Tonight I'll practice, make up the cranberry relish, prep the dressing vegetables, prep the 20-lb. bird for brining, make a bunch of veggie stock, and saute off the turkey liver for the dogs.
Homey don't do liver. Yech. :coffee:

I get to work until 1630 today, go home, shower and then hit the road by 1800 or so, drive through the night down I-25 and then west on I-40, so that we pull into the Flagstaff area around 0930-1000 tomorrow morning.
Yay me...

Bejebus, man--haven't you ever heard of cutting through Farmington and the Four Corners area? Save you several hours at least.

Yeah, I've heard of it; have you seen the snow pack already on the mountains between Durango and Silverton? It's like the piles of bullshit lying around Skins Island already.

I've driven that road many, many times. I was thinking you go over Wolf Creek instead. You know, Denver to Dillon down to Leadville and Del Norte via 91-24-285, then 160 over Wolf Creek all the way to Cortez and then on to Tuba City.
Sheesh!
