Building a Fence - Simplified.
First clear and level the site. (not picured)
Then Install a strip footing

The slats are made from a synthetic timber substitute called ModWood (slightly more expensive than similar normal timber but maintenance free )- which is screwed using a coarse threaded timber screw onto some pine - about 2*3 inches or so in section running vertically up the sides of the conctere columns that are dynabolted into the concrete. All the holes in the slats were pre-drilled through to the pine and countersunk.

Ah. I see it now. (Looking at the pic with your "supervisor") Thank you for the explanation. It looks great. I am pondering a project for my backyard, and was thinking of using a similar timber substitute myself.
