Chris Peden is his primary opponent in that tiny Texas congressional district.
Internal polling has Chris ahead by 11 points. Why? because he is using Paul's own words against him.
Today at long last. After all the spam and annoyances, the voters get to kick Paul in the political nuts.
Its a happy day. Its the day of reckoning. Its 5:30 AM. and I am going to enjoy this day.

Hey, since you're down there, and some of us are up here, could you keep us informed of the results?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know there's the internet and all that, with its unlimited information, but I prefer a report from the man on the scene.
Thank you, sir.

What time do the polls close in Texas?

Aaaahhh, sweet justice!! :hyper:
It will behoove everyone to don their hearing protection against the wails of the Paulbots if their Personal Savior goes down. :banghead:
On the downside, I predict a breeding explosion of the CT crowd, something like "the Neocons rigged the election to silence RonPaul!!" :tinfoil2:

There's a girl here in NH (Kelly Halldorson) who swore up and down RuPaul was going to win, walked from Concord to Manchester to "support" him, etc., etc., etc...
Funny how she hasn't been around on the local boards much lately....

I second that... Ron Paul has fallen off the media's radar up here in Seattle and I'm curious what happens to this guy today, being a Texan and all :-)

I like chocolate syrup on my irony.

Maybe since RP is going down, they'll be taking those idiotic posters down on what seems like every damn street light post in P-Town. I doubt it, but we knew this was coming.... the guy had a snowball's chance in hell, and only his loser supporters thought otherwise.

That IS good news!
However, even after the presidential and congressional primaries, I doubt he'll get a clue that his nutty beliefs are what did him in. :mental:

LOL!
If he loses the primary they are going to be mixing up the big vats of Grape Koolaide at the RP forums. ;)

Funny how she hasn't been around on the local boards much lately....
How far is it from Concord to Manchester? :rotf:

I might have to sacrifice my CU mole just to dance a victory jig.

It's very telling about the state of CU, when even conservatives have to have moles there. :mental:

I am still trying to figure out why I didn't get nailed in the ronbot invasion.
-
Not looking good for Peden.

The night is young yet.

28 miles. I've run farther than that for shits and giggles (marathon and cooldown), yet she's the "brave soul"...go figure.

I talked to a friend in Austin today who told me that "Texas loves it's nuts but they ain't gonna send em to the White House!"
She said it was funny that the state would pass on him for President but send him back to congress.
Which it is kinda, lol.
-
Well, just dang! :banghead: At least he won't be in the White House.
-
Well, at least Mr. Mann will have something to post about for the next two years.
-
Well look at it this way. CU was going to need a new mascot if he went down.
-
Well, If Cynthia McKinney could get re-elected, so can Paul.
At least the comedy sideshow of 2008 can continue.

Ok, so I'm confused, is he out or in? I havent seen any news shows where they even display his numbers in a caucus or primary.. i saw nothing about him on FOX last night.

I thought Gator was the CU mascot.
