Fox News is Going Down - MAJOR Bust by Daily Show
Tue Nov 10, 2009 at 10:42:12 PM PST
Just when you thought it couldn't be any more obvious that Fox News is a Dime-Store Propaganda Lie Factory, there's this:
VIDEO:

In the above clip from tonight's show, Fox News is caught using file footage of the better-attended Sept. 12 Tea-Party rally as if it were from the most recent Michelle Bachmann low-turnout event on the Capitol steps. We owe Jon Stewart and his crew an enormous debt of gratitude for breaking this story.
They used clips from a decade ago to make 9/12 look bigger and then, used 9/12 footage to make this latest charade look bigger. Do you think they are trying to convince people that there are more people opposed to this then there actually are?

11. If the teabagger movement is so huge
why do they need to artificially inflate their numbers with doctored videos and outright lies? I hope all this leads to an irreversible schism among conservatives - one that cannot be mended by Election Day. I want a teabagger facing a neocon in every district in the country next year!
Fox News is Going Down
Washington (CNN) -- The thousands of restive conservative protesters milling outside the west front of the Capitol last week definitely didn't seem in the mood to listen -- but there was at least one voice they wanted to hear.
Sounds like either an error, or stock footage was used. No big deal.
Dude, this is a huge deal. The DUmmies are going to bring down Fox, and by extension the VRWC! DO YOU NOT REALIZE THE GRAVITY OF THIS SITUATION??

The Media Equation
The Battle Between the White House and Fox News
By DAVID CARR
The Obama administration, which would seem to have its hands full with a two-front war in Iraq and Afghanistan, opened up a third front last week, this time with Fox News.
Until this point, the conflict had been mostly a one-sided affair, with Fox News hosts promoting tax day “tea parties†that focused protest on the new president, and more recently bringing down the presidential adviser Van Jones through rugged coverage that caught the administration, and other news organizations, off guard. During the health care debate, Fox News has put a megaphone to opponents, some of whom have advanced far-fetched theories about the impact of reform. And even farther out on the edge, the network’s most visible star of the moment, Glenn Beck, has said the president has “a deep-seated hatred for white people.â€
Administration officials seemed to have decided that they had had enough.
