When I was a kid, I had a poster of his. He was leaning over as if he did not fit in the poster and it said, "Basketball is a game of feet not inches". (thought that was pretty clever when I was a tike, lol) God bless sir (even though you were a Laker)... loved you in "Airplane". Stay well!

Old enough to remember him as Lew Alcindor with the Milwaukee Bucks.

That was when the NBA was a somewhat true sport not the rigged entertainment event it is today. :fuelfire:
