Title: primitive veterans check in

Oh my.

But one wonders what's up with the lying titty primitive not checking in.

The scorpion primitive lit the bonfire, but it's the "Captain Hilts" primitive (formerly the "MookieWilson" primitive, who might, or might not, be a dyke), who fanned the flames, keeping it going.

2. 4 century like years in the Marine Crotch.

June 29, 1965 was the smilingest day of my life as I finally walked out the main gate for the last time. Eat the apple and **** the Corps.

Man, the libertine terror primitive is an old fart.

14. '65. Well, they asked me too extend my enlistment so I could enjoy the sights in S.E. Asia.

After I told the Gunny Sergeant what he could do with that idea (I was still young and reckless then) I found myself on 30 days mess duty.

36. I started to ask you where and then (wtf) I saw your link.

I was stationed at a tiny NATO base about 50 clicks south of Izmir 64 ~ 66. We were about 8 clicks from NATO beach, so the summers were always pleasant.

Oh.  That's what that was all about.

48. Turkey was good duty. I worked on a rotating shift, so we had four days off each cycle. The base had a couple of campers on pickups that we could check out, so we used to travel all over Turkey in those things. Oddly, very few people on the base had any interest, so my friends and I took off every cycle for four days. We saw a lot of Turkey.

25. USS Dale CG-19 (1981-83), USS MacDonough DDG-39 (1984-86). Boiler Technicians- 1st ones on the ship, last ones off. 100 hour work weeks at sea- hot, sweaty, and grimy. Fantastic people, insane liberty (25 countries!!!-thanks taxpayers!!). Wouldn't trade it for the world and think about it all the time. Training that got me into Ford Motor Co- without connections! Happy Veterans Day all!

46. I was a nuc machinist mate on the Eisenhower and worked in the engineering spaces.

I used to lose about 20 pounds on a deployment as it was so hot, I never felt like eating. We were the first ones on, last ones off, also.

I just read somewhere that the last BTMC just retired?

26. U.S. Army Recruiting Command, Madison Avenue Civilian Division '77-'87

Worked with group at advertising agency that did the BE ALL YOU CAN BE campaign.

Started as secretary, worked up to copywriter. Visited Forts Lewis and
McClellan, but oddly, never the USAREC headquarters at Fort Sheridan. Won award for a radio commercial. Of course, America had a sane commander in chief back then.

35. Navy 71 - 75

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/USS_John_C._Calhoun_ (SSBN-630)

Well, thanks, guys; franksolich appreciates your service, even though you ended up on Skins's island amongst the primitives.

But one wonders--besides the lying tits primitive, other primitives known to be veterans haven't shown up at this bonfire, such as the sparkling husband primitive (U.S. Navy, on some boat off South Carolina during the Vietnam War), the boss bore primitive (the "BOSSHOG" primitive, U.S. Navy), and the mountain man primitive (the "ThomWV" primitive, who got some sort of decoration).

Thank you all.

Wow! None of these guys could carry TiT's sawed-off shotgun. I'm sure that wherever he is these days, he drifts into the library nearest the shelter and checks the DUmp. This thread must have brought a tear to his eye, imagining how he could have blown this bunch away. Green Beret, river boat pilot, guarding nuclear weapons, threatening the life of the SecNav, killing uncounted little yellow commies, he could have made this a classic thread.

Sorry coach, but some of them sound like the military would have been better for their not having served.

Not much sign of actual combat troops, or even the two ground combat service branches, there.  Can't say I'm shocked.

I'll go with all of them.  If one were in the military and came out a liberal, I have to question their love of the country in the first place.  The two just can't be reconciled.

I wonder what precentage of them on that thread actually did enlist/got drafted and how many served "TiT style"?

Now that's funny!

I'm with Tank on this one. I'll lay odds the military didn't miss these pukes at all!

I know we never missed anyone that got bounced from the Army so I have my doubts that we would have missed them either.
