Oh they realize it, they just think if they deny it they wont be targeted and Lord knows they can not, for any reason, agree with the "other side" so that keeps them denying it too. I'd say it would take a terrorist cutting the head off of someone they love or admire before they are intellectually honest about it.

Just like many other things including armed robbery, drug busts and being struck by lightning, they assume the odds are good it won't be their back on the wall with the blindfold on.
So they ignore the risk thinking "It will never happen to me" and leaping to the false conclusion that the danger doesn't exist and the threat - because it doesn't apply to them - doesn't need to be addressed.

I'm not sure they ever would realize it, and if they did they certainly wouldn't admit it. They're so married to never admitting to being wrong (otherwise it's all they would have time to do) they'll go to their grave being tortured by terrorists before they admit they're a threat.

They realize the Islamic threat, it's just that like William Ayers, liberals have no problem with seeing innocent Americans die. In fact, they like it. They like to cheer the terrorist on and blame the dead, calling them names such as "little Eichmanns" and blaming the military and blaming shadows. Liberals love the suffering of Americans. They are insane.

I dunno; you might see a few glimmers of realization when they were being herded into the mosque with "Arbeit Macht Frei" hanging over the gates, for their "conversion". Not many, and certainly not enough or bright enough to cause the sheep to stampede, but the scattered glimmers of realization would be there.

First, there are no liberals in this country. They left town or died off with the advent of the 1960s. "Liberals" (although misguided about domestic policies) were still true patriots and america-first folks.
Since the 1960s, we have been dealing with the america-hating left. For decades they hid behind the label "liberal" until became so unpopular with america they took up their new label, "progressive."
However, they are neither liberal or progressive. They are hardcore american-hating leftist who utterly despise this nation, its founding principles, its founders and, above all, its constitutionally protected freedoms.
With this said, you'd be wasting your time to try to convince so-called libs that islamo-fascism is a threat to us since they don't care and would support any enemy(foreign/domestic) that might actually succeed in putting them in power.
Name one enemy we have fought since Korea that they did not openly and publicly support over our troops and our nation?
